Did you buy it privately or find it at a car boot sale!!? :)
I purchased it through an Atari vendor. I wouldn't say it was "cheap", but probably a bargain compared to what some Falcon's go for these days!!

Re: - My "New" Atari TT and Upgrades -

Hi Shane, Must that looks a cracking machine and in really good nick for its age. Great TT find buddy :D Thanks! I am pretty excited; it practically looks like new. - My "New" Atari TT and Upgrades -

New to me, anyway. :) Today I took delivery of a beautiful Atari TT: http://www.warp12racing.com/images/ataritt/ataritt01.jpg It really is a sight to behold. I recall lusting after one of these when they were new...but certainly could not afford one on my salary at the time. It is a 2/50 spec machin...

Re: Bad Mood : Falcon030 'Doom'

I was wondering, would a TT have the horsepower to run a version of Doom in TT Low (320x480)?

Not a threadjack, more curious about how powerful the Falcon DSP is.

Re: Bad Mood : Falcon030 'Doom'

This is a good reason that Hatari might benefit to run at faster than 32 MHz speeds, hardware capable, of course....

Re: - More Speed? -

I was more wondering if there was potential for more speed to be added to Hatari. It "seems" like a 4ghz pc should be able to emulate more than 32 MHz of Atari, somewhere down the line? Internally used variables accuracy allows max 32Mhz. If you just want more speed, use fast forward. Well, who kno...

Has this been ran on a "super-accelerated" falcon?

I am very late to these 49 pages. Does this run on Hatari at acceptable speed?

I love that Hatari can do 32mhz. But I would think that it can do even more, with modern 4GHZ machines?

Re: Dave Small SST installed and (nearly) working

I had one of these, way back when. It would hang up randomly. I am going off very old memories here. I talked with Dave Small about it, and I believe he suggested the issue was the 74LS chips on the mainboard? They needed replaced with a higher spec part, a 74AS?? Anyway, that's the fuzzy memories I...

Version 1.70.

I have tried it with both ST and Falcon emu. But on ST emu--->

1280 x 720 16 color mode. TOS 2.06. Set to keep desktop res (which is set at 1280x720).

- Extended VDI? -

I can't quite figure this out. What is the max resolution? Can you set it to widescreen? When I set the extended vdi to 1280x720 and hatari to full screen(same as desktop res, with keep desktop resolution) it goes to 1024x768 res on my monitor. If I run default Falcon res, it will keep the 1280x720 ...

Deleting the .cfg file seemed to do the trick...maybe different .cfg file structure for the standard vs. falcon executables?

For some reason, the standard Hatari executable is not working on my win 8.1 system:

However, the Falcon executable works fine. Any ideas?

Does the FDC support the old 720k Atari drives?? The Atari 1.44's? I forget if those mechs are different from a standard.

What are the measurements for the Firebee mainboard? I couldn't find them, but looking at some Vintage case options.

Re: Aranym Limitations?

I was not really expecting to run older games and such. More looking at a new "standard" platform for apps and ported games and such. Something that might also share some apps with a Firebee system, making development more appealing. I was kind of wondering if the system is even stable enough to mak...

Aranym Limitations?

I was just wondering why the Aranym environment is not "the new "st"? It seems to have so many features, even comparable to the Firebee in some respects. Is it buggy, picky with it's host OS, or?? I'm just curious. I'd love to set up such a system, one that was usuable for productivity and games.......

I could not get this work under windows. Is it possible to boot directly to Steem, perhaps under Linux? The aranym Live image did such...can it be done with Steem? -ST Emulation on Firebee? -

I'm seriously considering a Firebee, from here in the states. I am curious, would it be possible to compile an emulator (Steem, Hatari, etc) to run classic ST(e) games? Does the Firebee have the hardware to support such an endeavor? I know that market segment is not exactly the target, but it would ...

Re: Firebee (ACP) - Let's make it a REAL success!

Just curious...how does the speed of Firebee compare to Aranym using JIT on a high-end PC?

I have only dabbled with Aranym...it seemed promising, although user-hostile. :)

- Older Versions of Steem? -

Is there an archive somewhere with the older versions of Steem? I would like to do some testing of timing-sensitive graphics programs, such as Spectrum 512 and Photochrome.

Thanks for any help,

Shane
