Re: The Guru Meditation and my 2019 VCF ST Exhibit

I think the whole rushing into market thing had more to do with the CES coming up and Jack losing money and absolutely nothing with the Amiga. That's what i get from reading stories from people at Atari that time anyway. Other than that it was the kind of presentation you would expect from the guru ...

Atari Forum and Atari legend are connected sites. This used to be an Atari forum so it makes sense.

Re: New Atari game released: Sardonic

So, I've had a chance to give it a quick go. First impression is that it's very 8-bitish and the graphics are a bit simplistic, however they do fit the game style very well. Once I played it though, I have to say that it's very smooth, and it's nice to see the blitter being used. I didn't progress m...

Re: Beginning of very long journey

I truly don't understand the use of a different DSP. This will immediately make it NOT compatible with Falcon and there will be hardly any software for it. Well if it is in the same family it should be code be compatible (according to NXP), but i am pretty sure that incompatibilities will arise. Ho...

Re: shadow of the beast ST (Mark mc cubbin here)

Let's just wait for the village idiot's response now! Let me make a guess. The st can't do a better sotb. Those who coded for the Amiga were bad programmers that didn't care for the machine. The st coders were brilliant but just couldn't do anything better because the st is crap. I also read the Fa...

Cool video (I'll follow the series closely)

But.. I'd like to see it progress into more than just explaining branching and looping, but to how to actually create a useful program.

The admins of Demozoo and Pouet are being rediculous in this matter. They have taken and published work that the author has put in the public domain.
