OK, that's serious. Do you think that passwords of the forum users or other data may be stolen?

Strange Error Message today
Hello,
the forum was hacked. When i visited this site, there was only a list of /etc/passwd as it seemed.
Should i worry in any way? Stolen data?

It can run most applications with high resolution and even native PC resolution: (e.g. 256 color and more at 1024x768). It has many features, but it's not free. And do...

ST Basic => here we go: sound ---------- sound <channel>,<volume>,<note>,<octave>,<duration> channel = 1,2,3 volume = 0 ... 15 (0 = no sound, 1 min, 15 max) note = 1..12, note within octave, like "c" octave = 1..8 (take a look at some music books) sound produces only a beep. With wave you can modula...

But btw, just out of curiosity, why you are running Steem under Vmware? Hello ijor, just want to keep the host as simple as possible. So there is nearly nothing else than the os and vmware installed. This is for backup/restore purposes and security reasons. All data and progs are within the vm (exc...

Hello Sarek, i guess it has to do with vmware emulating a graphic card. On normal hw the cpu can rely on real cards for this, but vmware emulates a vesa compliant card, so the cpu gets really busy, you had to reduce the gui to "draw only every 4th frame" and even than the mouse makes trouble. I was ...

Hello, Sareks idea is good! How about adding the entries volumn up/down to the shortcut menu. Otherwise it would distroy already existing use of the wheel. I have defined a shortcut für wheel up and wheel down as pressing ST-Key up and down. This comes an scrolling feature very close. Greetings, Mar...

ok, i try it: When i installed steem on a 2 cpu maschine, i can set it to 128 MHz and it creates a high load on one cpu while the second one is idle. It is also true with a HT cpu, one thread is much more active than the other one. The idea was, to bring the emulation of, i.e. the blitter or an othe...

Hi,
is there a way to make use of such "multi processor goodies" in steem?
If not, maybe this is an idea for a next release.
Thanks for tips.
