The tune works great on JAM 2.0 on Windows.
It doesn't work on BZR Player because I guess it doesn't support DMA Sound?
BZR uses the sc68 engine

Re: Can't rip Maggie 5 module (Chris/ULM) HELP PLZ !

Hi guys, Ok I've made an SNDH of the tune, available here : http://d-bug.me/shw/MAGGIE5.SND Some notes. Firstly ripping was quite easy as The Fate had left the labels in the executable. But then the troubles started. There are two replay paths for ST and STe (DMA). The ST replay steals two registers...

Re: Robocop (Pete Johnson) Graphical upgrade attempt...

It’d be easy to sidify the Peter Johnson music using hipsid routines. Tho depends how much processor time he had left. Although rte-ing TC should save a bit.

If no one takes up the challenge I’ll look on my return from holiday next week. Basically you just do the opposite to ultimate ripper and convert the bitplane data to sprite format.

Nowadays the activity concerns Mist stuff , each to their own, but no interest whatsoever for me. This was subject for a discussion earlier this year. See here for a way to hide the MiST/MiSTer stuff. I have used this for months now. whoaaah that script is just the job... .thanks so much.... Atari ...

Yeah the core of this forum has shifted over the years. Not much interest in the ‘scene’ - both flavours : demo and games. Hence lack of feedback with new stuff, Nowadays the activity concerns Mist stuff , each to their own, but no interest whatsoever for me.

Re: state of the art atari SNDH music?

Perhaps if I got time tonight I'll try find some 60+ Hz file that doesn't use all timers and setup a true interrupt and an approximated 200 Hz. It will be interesting to see if I can notice a difference :-) Ok, so I did a test between a true 70 Hz Timer A (ok, 69.8181 Hz) and a simulated 70 Hz from...

Re: Allister Brimble's Dizzy tracks

No. You can’t pass a value to D1 in winjam , sc68 or sndplayer. The sndh’s will need redoing.

In the meantime give me your email and I’ll send update files.

Re: Allister Brimble's Dizzy tracks

The music driver (Amiga soundtracker chip routine) needs two values on init.

D0 - Sub tune
D1 - Loop yes/no

Currently the SNDH sets loop to off. However I may modify them so actual tunes loop and small fx and jingles do not loop.

Hi ya.

Yes you need these memory set up commands to play most maxymiser tunes as gwEm uses system calls to reserve buffer space for samples.

Of course it’s in the SNDH archive :)

Regarding “fancied up”

The original version is in the archive as well as the SID-I-fied version which has added sid voices (used in the hipsid demo)
