Re: BeeKey Atari on a key and now BeePi

This looks very interesting, Philippe!

Just one question: On Mac, since it writes to hard drive the first time it boots, will it overwrite the existing MacOS or will I be able to just unplug the USB-stick and boot into MacOS as before?

Re: MiST and RGB Output

I recently made a cable to connect the MiST to a Nec Multisync II and it worked like a charm. I do have a pretty old ST core running, so don't know if anything have changed lately, but it works with my monitor at least.

Interesting thread! Any updates here?
I've just recently started to revive my old AB-Falcon and it would have been übercool to upgrade it to 060 :-D

Re: Dead Falcon - need help!

Thanks guys! A lot of great info here :D The jumper is in place, so that shouldn't be a problem. I've ordered a brand new Dallas-chip since it was easier that finding the one I have lying around somewhere :-) I'll change that chip first and I'll see what happens on boot. I have an 8-bit logic analyz...

Dead Falcon - need help!

Hi, I have a dead Falcon that I would like to revive, but I have no clue how to move on. I have plans to replace the NVRAM as the battery is dead. The SCSI was dead when I got it some 14 years ago. I believe I tried to speed it up when it died, but I really don't remember. It looks quite clean now a...

It might be the power supply you use for the MiST. Try using another PSU. Worth a try :-)

Problems with USB mouse

I've tried to connect a Logitech Wireless USB mouse to my FireBee, and this is what I experienced: 1. When I tried to use the "internal" one, I got no response at boot. FireTos reports nothing in that port. When trying with a memorystick, it is recognized though. 2. When I try to connect to one of t...

Re: GCC Cross compiler: cannot find -lgnu16

Thanks Mikro! Replacing -lgnu16 with -lc was in fact the solution. TTF-GDOS seems to have been compiled last time in 2001, so I guess a lot of stuff have happened since then :) I'm using Philipp Donzé's cross compiler package for Mac: http://www.donzé.ch/atari/software/cross-compiler/

GCC Cross compiler: cannot find -lgnu16

Hi, I'm trying to compile TTF-GDOS using GCC crosscompiler (m68-atari-mint) on my Mac, but the linker fails because it can't find a library called lgnu16. As far as I can see, _memcpy is the only function that is used from lgnu16, although I might be wrong. I'm a newbie on GCC, so I hope someone mig...

Re: Problems with booting from CF-cards: "No boot found"

Don't worry Mathias, I just tried booting with my Falcon CF since none of the others did work :) The trick with pressing the C-key at boot and choosing "New boot" did the trick. Thanks alot Galvez! I also had some other issues on top of this because I used a Mac to copy the MiNT setup over ...

Problems with booting from CF-cards: "No boot found"

Hi guys! Finally, my FireBee arrived yesterday! On top of that joyful moment, my brand new LCD-driver arrived too. It's for a 15,4" 1600x1050 panel from a donor Dell-laptop, so now a FireBee-laptop might be in reach :D But that's another story... This post is about me having some problems booting fr...

Looking for a game I made in 87 called Ski jump

Hi all, I'm looking for a GFA-game I made back in 87, when I was 13, called Ski Jump or something. I was not very good at taking backups, especially when new diskettes costed $10, which was a months allowance ;-) Anyway, the source code disc got so worn out that I lost it completely together with so...

Joska helped me out on this one and sent me a whole Stacy motherboard that worked. When looking into it, I suddenly lost more of the screen and some parts of the scree...

Stacy LCD-problem. Need help!

Hi all! I'm having an Atari-renaissance, so I'm trying to fix all my old Ataris. But, I need some help! My Stacy is having some strange problems. After changing the backlight, my LCD-screen "died", but I can still use an external monitor. The problem seems to be connected to the LCD-drivers/controll...
