Thanks for the replies. I have looked at all the suggested web links already and I am not sure they provide a solution. I will try HDDriver demo to see if can actually see the zip drive hardware, but I suspect I will have to make the parity generator and stick it in the SCSI Chain. Will update this ...

I have a zip disk on my PC. Is there a special format that i need to use? I thought the Atari could read PC discs? Does that not apply to ZIP discs?

I know this is an old thread, but I am interested in getting my STE on the network/internet. Would it be possible to add a serial port to an old router and flash modified firmware to allow serial port access on the router? Thanks, Not wanting to sound un grateful but I would not know how to re-compile a Linux kernel (even with explicit instructions) I know that there is a page on the web detailing mounting the drive under linux and making a .dsk image file, but when we tried that, linux reported errors! :?
