It was to messy to use med resolution so
now just a day or 2 ago i have an monochrome monitor :P

You can use hi-res but you need a mono monitor. Atari made a few such as the SM124 and SM125. No extra memory or anything else is needed to run hi-res. The ST has a mono detect pin on it's monitor port so when a mono monitor is connected the ST will automatically set hi-resolution which is 640*400....

Is it possible to use hi-res with a monitor? or do i have to have more memory or something? Hi-res sound nice :D There are a few programs, that can help you. IMO the best are Sebra , or DBL2ST / DBL2ST . The first one can emulate monochrome monitor on TV (640x400 mono, interlace), the second gives ...

Hello im quite new to atari and midi but have tried it for a couple of days,
the ony program i have gotten towork with med resolution is
"Swet Sixteen"
