Hi folks. I've managed to pick up Verminator but have no instructions at all. Can anyone help?

OOPS! Should've put (with trainer) beside it!
Even then, with the cheats on it was STILL brain surgery. Whenever I put this game on, mouse companies must've been rubbing their hands together. :)

I must agree with RetroGamerUK on this one. You spend hours in Dungeon Master with the lights off, the only sound is the clicking of your mouse, you're looking, searching, watching then... AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Your party "happened upon" a hidden pit - time to change the old ...

Oh! Yes, those damned gigglers. As soon as I heard the familiar giggle, one of the hands would suddenly become empty. I would unleash numerous fireballs in a Blazing Rage and STILL hit nothing. Nothing was more satisfying than cornering one of these little pests and blowing him into a wiso of smoke!...

Hee Hee! I thought he would've given Mike Tyson a run for his money. Somehow he reminds me of a character from a group called Sly & Robbie from the 80s!
Anyways, he was a "good" bad guy - as were Deth Knights from Dungeon Master.

Hey RetroGamerUK - you and I must be around the same age then - I got my ST in 1989. I think some games were probably designed never to be beaten. If we go back once again to the likes of Jetpac, when all levels are complete we're put back to the start. Chuckie Egg took a similar approach where once...

The Best "Bad Guy"

Well, why not? Who would be your fave "Baddie" from the old skool days? I always loved the look of the leather-clad babe on the cover of Game Over on the Speccy and absolutely hated "Big Bertha" in Renegade on the same platform. But the best ST baddie? Lord Chaos! Anyone?

I have played Flashback on the Amiga before - gorgeous game. I too own the Megadrive version which isn't bad at all. As everyone has said, an ST version would be nice. Has anyone tried to contact the software house involved in its production to query the ST version?

Which Game Had The Worst Ending?

You know what it's like - you've spent hours sweating over a game. Your fingerprints are now fused into the plastic of the joystick and the carpet has grown up to your knees! After days or weeks of blood, sweat and tears - a simple "CONGRATULATIONS!" appears - then it's all over.
AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Well Aktiv8, being a speccy addict myself I have to agree with your comment on Jet Set Willy. Trantor was alright too, but Manic Miner will always have a special place in my heart

Your personal favourite doesn't necessarily have to be one of the above. These are merely suggestions. I should even have slipped Verminator in there!

The Best Platform Game On The ST?

Would it be Black Lamp? Nebulus? Prince of Persia? Thundercats?

My personal favourite would have to be Black Lamp.

Worst ST Moment

Of these I have a few:- 1) Sweating through hours of gameplay and having a pop-up appear on the screen asking for disk 2 - there was only 1 disk. 2) Finally getting a memory upgrade and switching on - minutes later a friend spilt coffee on the ST. Boom. I got a replacement ST a couple of weeks later...

I have to say that I'd love to have seen "It Came From the Desert" on the ST. I always remember a friend having this on his Amiga (cough) and being taken aback by the brilliant atmospheric music and graphics.

Infestation for the Atari ST

Has anyone ever produced a version of this music in a format which can be converted to .WAV? I love the theme tune for this little treasure and would be most grateful if someone could help.

Just need some basic instructions from the manual. I've been trying to find an original of this game to get the instructions but so far - no joy!
