You are. There are other ways to run FPGA STs (em, MIST?) so if you're really that upset you can go invest in one of those. Otherwise, don't annoy the developer please.

Thanks!

Re: CosmosEx v1/v2 - Update

Unbricked it by downloading the old Yocto release from Github and manually flashing Hanz, Franz and the Xilinx. The update script is very broken, at least on my original device. Everything is working again but I'm sure I can never update it automatically again in this state. CosmosEx_Configuration.j...

I'm having trouble finding the hard drive Dungeon Master - looks like it's no longer available on the link provided above. Google doesn't turn up much - anyone have a line on where to find it?

Thanks!

This is very cool! Seems like a nice clean way to get these features into any ST. Bravo!

I had a successful order about 3 weeks ago. Make sure you order through their web process - I've had no problems with straight up orders.

Re: RETRO-BRITE...Best Process So Far

I'll give your process a try KLund1. I've retro-brite'd in the past using the gel + cling wrap method and while it does work rather well you do need to keep a close eye on it for drying. I've done a Mac Plus with fairly good results but did experience a bit of blotching here and there - nothing majo...

Re: After nearly 20 years, will anyone crack Cubase Audio 2.06?

Let's add 7 more years this thread! I recently acquired a Studio Module and CueTrax original disk, but the CueTrax disk has errors. I'll try to run it through the kyroflux but until then does anyone have the contents of either the CueTrax or the StyleTrax discs? My Studio Module disk is confirmed wo...

Fried a Steinberg Midex+, any schematics?

I just killed my trusty Steinberg Midex+ by mistakenly plugging a cart into it while the computer was on. Now when I boot the MegaSTE I get no hard drive boot and just go to the basic GEM desktop with the Midex plugged in. It still does seem to power up but kills my SCSI/ASCI if it's plugged in. The...

Re: SCSI2SD

Hi Stef, resurrecting an old thread! I'm trying to do the exact same thing in my MegaSTE and have tried your suggestions. Can you comment perhaps on the type of SD card you have? I've tried Sandisk 8gb card (the smallest I can find) and am not having any luck. The Mega sees the SCSI2SD fine but when...

Re: Tentrax?

Way back in the mists of time I used to use a music sequencing program called Tentrax, which I unfortunately lost ages ago. I still have a whole album of songs in the Tentrax .SNG format that I would love to use again. So my question is does anyone know where I can get a copy of this program? Any h...

Re: Ultra satan on a TT machine lun issues with the intern scsi

I've got this very problem on my TT and Ultrasatan. I've tried it with the LUNs set as shipped and also moved around, but still no luck on the TT. Occasionally I can see HDDRIVER detecting the Ultrasatan when it boots, but I can never seem to see it with device check in the HDDRIVER utility. I've go...

Re: STe/Mega STe expansion dreams and reality

This is a great thread providing many good ideas. Has the ST landscape changed since it was original posted, concerning networking STs? It still seems that the best solution is a SCSI to Ethernet box, but that is not the easiest to accomplish since they are tough to find and Link adapters for the AS...

Re: stuck in high monochrome resolution

Unfortunately my meter is broken, so I'll have to run out and pick up another one. In the meantime, I scoured my closet and found a reasonable backup: photo.jpg Its my original 520ST with a Newell TAB Board and memory expansion. The keyboard was severly yellow so I pulled off the key caps from a spa...
