Re: CosmosEX 3.0

I did a clean setup some years ago when using a pi zero and a microcosmos. I don’t think there we’re any problems at all. Just clone the repo and run the installer. Look at my post history, I think I’ve posted something about this here.

Shouldn’t be any problem. Just make a backup of /ce just in case.

We fixed it. This is the oneliner to restore everything..

Code: Select all

cd / && mv /ce /_ce-orig && git clone https://github.com/atarijookie/ce-atari-releases.git /ce && cd /ce && git checkout stretch && reboot

Oh it’s tight. The scsi connector that is. It’s quite hard to remove. But one can add screws if one is worried.

Re: CosmosEX 3.0

Are you selling your 2.0 ? Nah, if anything it will be going to one of my other Ataris. It’ll will. It’s a evolution on my first model.51439E1A-70E5-43D2-8AA8-57EB67E3D9DD.jpeg That is definitely cleaner than the other solution that I had before, which has a full adapter that blocked other things o...

I think it’s a shame having to desolder stuff in such a beautiful machine. I try to make things non-invasive.

While everything Greenious wrote is 100% true, the key for a small project is communication. Almost everyone will accept any delay, as long as they’re communicated.

Re: Xilinx not updating.

PS: Looking at Jookie's download page, these should be called xlnx2 a .xsvf or xlnx2 s .xsvf, depending on whether you have the ACSI or SCSI version. Ah. Crap. :/ Then it's not the Xilinx that's the problem with this CosmosEx. :/ the a or s version is flashed when the A/S header is set/unset. Manag...

Re: CT60e not booting.

You can try to reset CT60 nvram with resetnvm.prg. It's included in tos060.lzh which you can find here: http://didierm.pagesperso-orange.fr/files/tos060.lzh No luck. use CT60CONF CPX I'm guessing the one from the file tjam linked? No luck either. However, I probably should replace the clock module ...

Tried that, I'm guessing you're thinking of "black on power on" related to NVRAM? Mine shows picture at power on, just won't go into boot.

[SOLVED] CT60e not booting.

As the title states, see pictures (if I manage to add them, on mobile). It was working just fine yesterday up until 2am this night. I might have done a quick power on/off/on, when I think about it (my power button is two Dupont cables as of now). I've swapped memory stick, disconnected HD and Floppy...

Re: The SECRET VIDEO MODE in an ST: 400 lines in COLOR (and with 72 Hz)!

For the record: this mode (1280x200x2@50Hz) works fine with an NEC1970NXp, centurion/ubeswitch tested. This even worked in the NewRez Desktop driver, but with the mono font, so it looked more like 1280x100, aka totally unsuable :/ Wait, what? Did you really use an ubeswitch with auto detection of m...
