Good to know, although Super VGA on an Amiga with another adapter is indeed another case!

VGA to HDMI Adapter with STE
Hello to everyone, I was wondering if anyone has used one of these with success for the Hi-Res (Monochrome) VGA output of the Atari ST. I would really like it to work in order to be able to use my Atari with any Monitor or PC capture device which accepts HDMI input. Here is something I've found on A...

Re: UltraSatan Extension Cable?
Thanks for your reply Jookie!
I just received an answer from the store that sells those cables and they said that it's a disk extension cable with DB-19 connectors and has a length of 90 centimeters...do you think that 90cm would be ok in order to avoid data loss?

UltraSatan Extension Cable?
Hi all! I just received my UltraSatan device a couple of weeks ago and I wonder: could I use a standard DB19 extension cable in order to be able to place the device a little further than the ST? I'm asking this 'cause my ST is on a kind of shelf that doesn't leave the necessary space for the UltraSa...

Re: Adjust vertical image size on LCD monitor?
The picture though is rock solid; the trouble is my eyes are drawn to the border. The contrast between border and picture makes it uncomfortable to use. I know, same thing happens here too! That's why I wonder if anyone knows any LCD monitors with image size adjustment capabilities (just like good ...

Adjust vertical image size on LCD monitor?
Hello to all! I found this monitor - Samsung Syncmaster 723N (http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=computersperipherals&type=monitors&subtype=lcd&model_cd=LS17HAAKBUXAA) for about 100 euros in Greece so I was thinking to replace my huge 17" CRT Sony Trinitron Multiscan 200ES. I ...

Re: IDE interface/IDE PLCC adapter
Currently I'm on resolving my situation. So, will inform soon what and how... In meantime working on support for hot-swap of CF cards (some people asked about it). It looks that thing is possible (at price of +3 IC and couple other parts). And of course some work on driver is required, what is done...

Re: ST as a desktop computer.
However, there are tons of apps that actually don't need installation at all. Thus, we really have a mixed bag here. I second the idea of having an "utility package" more than an "apps package" I found myself more than once in search for this extractor or that pixel editor or that other screen util...

Re: Brainstorm 68000 CPU Accelerator on ST(E)?
This type of accelerator for the Mac will not work however because the cpus in those low end macs were DIL type chips whereas the STe is PLCC iirc. This is why you see those ide interfaces for ST or STe. It may work in a bog standard ST though. Yes, you're right...I didn't notice that it was a DIL ...

Re: Are there any trackers that work in high rez/mono?
Apart from that, all the "pro" MIDI and audio software that I use works only in mono rez...I see that this is not the case for trackers and I wonder why??? Monochrome monitors were most used by professionals on DTP and MIDI. MOD trackers and chipsound trackers where used by game and demo makers who...

Ok, I got it! :) Well, I've downloaded Audio Sculpture v.1.0 (the only one that works on a mono monitor too!). After a very quick look though, I didn't manage to see anything that has to do with MIDI...will try a little more though...maybe anyone knows a download link for a newer version of AS (for ...
