CosmosEx for sale!
Hello guys! Since we're awaiting a new member in our family I had to drastically cut down on my retro-space. Gone is the retro man-cave :( I'm still holding on to my machines, now safely stowed away, for sentimental reasons. However, for the time being there's only space for one or two machines, top...

Atari ST badge vectors
Hello!
Not exactly on topic here, but seems like the best sub-forum to post...
Anyhow, does anyone have the Atari ST badges (preferably: 1040STFM) in vector format? I'd like to make a laptop decal out of it
Thanks!

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST
Ah yes, you're right, I was thinking old-school. Not impossible depending on the construction (in some case it's actually easier, in my MAME cab I used the boards from some cheap USB pads and just re-arranged the wires where they were inserted into the board), but if the pads are surface-mounted ind...

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST
Ah, remapping would be an excellent idea even with a 'correct' pad to be honest...
If all else fails though I guess rewiring the pad itself is not such a big deal, their construction is very simple.

Re: Amstrad CPC Advocacy (was: Graphics in Locomotive basic)
I do see the point, but the new subject is misleading and prone to lead to a flame or something; nobody was advocating anything for or against, we were just discussing the pros and cons in a very nice way.

Re: Graphics in Locomotive basic
Never used a Sharp MZ (lovely machines!) except to run an emulated program or two, got to check it out (though, if I'm not mistaken the MZ series run up to the late 80s with new models, so it wouldn't surprise me...). Didn't remember the thing about the MSX despite having used them - I guess I'm too...

Well, true, in the sense that you have to press COPY when you reach the line that interests you. Is this so bad?
A follow-up question: any 8-bitter that had a scrolling editor?

Re: Graphics in Locomotive basic
The CPC BASIC does have drawing commands - it was, after all, probably the best 8-bit BASIC. But I would think the c64 and Atari 800 did have equivalent commands, no? So I would guess you're asking for something else...

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST
This project had completely passed me by... I'm so glad it exists, even though progress has slowed. This could possibly make my MiST replace my SMD after the multicarts voltage brouhaha that took place a while back, instead of having to buy a Mega EverDrive X5 to replace my EverDrive MD (anyone has ...

You can ask him for my emails, and you can see the Twitter discussion we had. Instead of, you know, showing your ignorance.
And yes, when someone starts name-calling in a thread, that right on par for a flame and is definitely troll behavior.

Re: The Atari ST (and others) and the Creative People
From your thread starter: "I feel really saddened that the author sees nothing wrong with the first volume" Oh yeah, and that, you think, refers to mistakes in English? Sheesh... Those (not many, few actually, but just not making spelling errors does not guarantee a good translation; especially if ...
