Re: Using the Falcon's expansion connector
The previous two weren't. I had heard there was a version that's plug and play but wasn't sure which one it was. Spotted it now. Sorry to say, but they were plug and play. I had one of the first batch and I simply had to connect it in my Falcon and it worked ! Frost is right, I got one of the very ...

Re: Using the Falcon's expansion connector
The CT60 has sold quite well. There's been numerous batches and versions (CT60, CT63, CT60e). The latest version (CT60e) is plug and play (I don't know about the older CT60 and CT63). Lift out the internal PSU. Plug in the CT60e. Add a 060 CPU and some RAM. Insert a picoPSU into the CT60 and off yo...

Are there any CT60e's sold? I cannot find any and they are not plug and play which is an issue when dealing with a rare expensive almost 30 years old machine. The CT60 has sold quite well. Bawolf's work is the best news I've heard for a long time (now if we can get it to work using the internal processor in parallel...)

Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)
Engine sound was really good, indeed and intro music on the ST -plain ST- was by far better than on the Amiga (for a change).

Just a quick one. Can MiNT be installed in D:\ or any other drive just by changing any reference for "C:\" to "D:\"?

Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)
yeah, wasn't trying to be rude or criticize, I am not sure what I suggested would fit in the game. Just gave my humble opinion on the sound, nothing more. Of course the sample you gave maybe the best bet for the game with the correct volume etc.

Re: Using the Falcon's expansion connector
It can be adjusted to 68030 mode with 68881/2. And I thought if it can be connected to the Falcon expansion connector, which is 68000-ish, running on 68030 it'd seat very well. PiStorm is a good alternative as well. Not voting in favor of either as I am not a hardware creations expert but I like bot...

Re: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - STE enhanced (WIP)
Another try restarting the triangle at 25hz :) Noise freq also a bit different Not to be rude or anything but this sounds more like StuntCar Racer engine sound. IMHO for Lotus it needs a more refined engine sound and rev-up, something like that for a sport outcome https://youtu.be/7APK2RuTzZc?t=247...

Re: WiFi on Atari?
USB WiFi dongle, combined with Lightning or NetUSBee would work for me but AFAIK it will need its own drivers. This is why I asked if there's a supported chipset or if there's a way to offload such tasks, even browsing itself, to an external device

Re: WiFi on Atari?
What about using MIDI port? ACIA is clocked with 500Khz clock. Divisor "16" gives 31250 bps (MIDI) with divisor "64" - 7812,5 (keyboard) and there is also divisor "0" which could offers 500 000 bps https://cdn.datasheetspdf.com/pdf-down/M/C/6/MC6850_Motorola.pdf Is there a solution for that? Someth...

Re: WiFi on Atari?
I was thinking mainly a direct WiFi solution. Amiga for instance seem to have some over PCMCIA and other on accelerators, especially ones with a co-CPU or ones that totally offload these tasks away from the 68k series. if you already have a functional LAN port on your MiNT machine, all you need is o...

WiFi on Atari?
Are there any WiFi chipsets with drivers for TOS or MiNT?
Was wondering if it would be possible to have USB WiFi connected to Lightning or NetUSBee and spare myself some of the cables. Of course WPA2 support is needed to connect to most modern routers.

Re: Alternative to AUTOSORT?
Instead of using AUTOSORT, I suggest insaneBoot. You only have the boot tool inside AUTO and the configuration can run the tools from any other folder so no need to sort orders on FAT level but only on config file level. Nice one, does that mean that you can have many boot configurations (MiNT, TOS...

I’d add Amiga soundtrack, will complement the new version better IMHO.

Re: VanillaMiNT 2 - need some input
Was wondering if something like this FalcDate by @Badwolf could be added in the new build. This is a small auto folder utility that keeps time updated but needs Internet connection.
