Re: Bios Issue Maybe? Help!

Grab the Smokemonster pack with the .neo extension Burn the useless gog-romsets or any xml garbage the updater is forcing down your throat by default Once you have done that, you should be all set. The gog-romset.xml is for the few roms you can legally buy. The rompacks usually recommended are not ...

Re: PC Engine core

Initial CD support added a few hours ago by Sorg... What a time to live! Uh, where can we find this, it's not in the Github folder yet. Commit d2e3d0fbd2f26039c4597bc308ca044f7a4b6f0a Can't be more obvious than that... It has been there for more than 6 hours... I will stop there, you are probably t...

Re: How to update only selected cores?

Is there any way (other than manual copy) to update only the cores you have (and menu/main) using a script? The update script that I have creates many folders and installs all cores but I’m not interested in many of these and just need my favourite systems updated. Already answered 10 times in othe...

Re: PC Engine core

While I don't discount your explanation, that would imply that the Core Grafx and TurboGrafx minis would also ship with non-turbo joypads (which is not the configuration they were originally sold with). We'll see when they officially launch at the end of April. Well... if they launch at the end of ...

Re: N64 Core WIP

If they do go the special board route, it would be nice if they simply built a more generic expansion board for other additions beyond just this one. I don't have much interest in a world where I'd have to rip my MiSTer apart just to play certain systems. Although some sort of a plugin cartridge st...

N64 Core WIP

Really really cool stuff here: https://twitter.com/AshEvans81/status/1246314752399347713 Looks like our DE10 will need to get a few more expansions boards. Glad that Sorgelig released the I/O Digital 1.2 board freeing one GPIO. Guess it will be a requirement in an hopefully not too distant future. E...

Re: PC Engine core

Thanks for the info, the only major bug I still encounter is with Street Fighter 2, especially Honda's stage. Lots of random glitches the effect the whole frame. It happens for a split second but always been noticebale. Those bugs are present before the core rewrite (build from 19.09.28). I just di...

Re: SNES core

Confirmed! SNES_20190124.rbf makes FF3 run perfectly. Sorry for the delay. You are not the first one to report and confirm this. Problem is that the devs are stuck with a "get better cooling" opinion on this one. On a related note, "MSU1 is bad, Blisster sucks, NEOCD support is not worth it because...

Re: Super Cassette Vision efforts?

Just wondering if anybody has given consideration to implementing the EPOCH Super Cassette Vision console. I do know that PC emulators exist, and I found a decent write-up of the console's architecture, including the memory map, as well as schematics at the following site: Japanese: http://www43.to...

Hope that the turbo controllers will too, once they become available. Playing the PC Engine Core is about to become even cooler. You could have just purchase...

15 Khz support incoming?!?! WOOOT! Already commited days ago. Current OSD size is the only issue (not a big deal, you can still scroll and read), other than that it is really impressive. And don' forget to enable Stabilize video (buffer), or screen transitions might not be your friend if you are ep...

@srg320 i just compil your build and street fighter ii' have missing 2nd player in demo mode It's for developers only. DO NOT USE it. Use official release. Re: names.txt, let's make one

There are 2 limitations: 1) OSD size is fixed. More resources needed for larger OSD which is unreasonable as these resources better to spend for core's needs. 2) Since MiSTer supports resolutions down to very small one, it has to be able to fit OSD in smallest one. Overall it's more complex than it...

You are playing with fire with a variable AC adapter.
What happens when you use the one provided with the DE10 nano?

It always strikes me odd how this community keeps pushing people away, unless they "have the skills to build a core". I was encouraging you, not pushing you away. As dshadoff stated the people who spend their time to work on this project do it for free. Right, and we should all be very gra...

Great! Can I add this to the current update script? Or if you can add it (even commented out by default) to the current one on github, that would be great; thanks! I encourage you to make a simple script by yourself, the idea of scripting is letting people experiment, tweak and customize all they w...
