Re: Arcade cores

I do not know what version of Stargate you guys are playing but on mine, the option to skip does not exist.. When I load Stargate, and goto define keys my options are Menu-Hold > Cancel Enter > Finish and none of this addresses the fact that there is no "inviso" button, which if you ever played Star...

Re: Arcade cores

As you can see in the picture above.. when trying to play these ARCADE cores, with actual arcade controls, you do not want left and right to be reverse, you want the reverse button to do it, just like in the arcade. Hopefully the 2 modes take that into consideration. You would for sure want one mode...

Re: Arcade cores

Basically I made myself a MultiWilliams Pedestal for use with a JROK MultiWilliams board.. I see room for a trackball and a spinner and then you'll be very well covered for most arcade games. I'm using a cheap joystick with 8 buttons right now but need to be making something like that. Nice stuff! ...

Re: Arcade cores

I can assure you that playing Robotron using an IPAQ2 for controls that the joysticks ( which are really just keyboard inputs ) do not do anything when in the Dip Switch menu. If the .mra can be manipulated to hold certain settings that would me amazing, can you share maybe what an .mra might look l...

Re: Arcade cores

I do not think you should just assume people want to play the "Arcade Cores" with a gamepad. MiSTer I thought was developed to simulate the original hardware. Sure, if I am playing a console that originally had a gamepad, I would want to play with a gamepad, same logic would apply to a computer core...

Re: Arcade cores

I have one!! Basically I made myself a MultiWilliams Pedestal for use with a JROK MultiWilliams board.. Which had the layout above but no middle joystick and only the 3 buttons in the middle of the top row. It was great, then a buddy got me a CRAZY good deal on a Joust Cabinet with a brand new CRT m...

Robotron 2084 Settings

Hello, In Robotron we have the option of going into the Dip Switch settings and turning Advance on and off and it takes us through the normal options as if you open up a Robotron and hit Advance, thing is, once we get to the area where you can actually make changes to the game, the screen where you ...

Stargate Controls / Ideas

Hello, I noticed that with the latest updates to the Robotron core, Stargate has a Control 1 and a Control 2, which is great, I agree 100% that there should be at least 2 options for this game if not more, but how they are currently setup is not good for anyone who is using actual arcade controls. W...

High Score Saving inside the Arcade Core

Can anyone tell me if the ability to save the High Scores for individual arcade cores is being worked on.. Had a great game of Donkey Kong the other night, alas, the score is only in the pic I took to send to a buddy.. Would be pretty cool if the scores were kept on the Mister.

Re: Arcade cores

Cheers for all the hard work from CoMo too.. I have tried, tirelessly, to remap buttons for Joust, Robotron and Stargate and no matter what I do, things are never saved or work, I feel confident that I know the process, I was able to map buttons in Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe without issue. Any h...

Core Specific Default Controller

Hello, I have searched until I can no longer keep things straight so I will just ask here.. The default button mappings for Joust are very different from most other cores, a=left s=right f=flap I have had zero luck mapping buttons for this game and having it remember anything, I assume I just do not...

Re: Arcade cores

I want to report a bug in the Donkey Kong core... I came across this issue while working on my Donkey Kong Junior core (coming soon). The problem was much more evident in that core. I can provide a quick fix for this issue. Keep an eye on my GitHub repo. I'll try to get the fix added to the main re...
