Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
Finally got a MiSTer and "built" a case inspired by some here and on the retropie forum. It uses the original power plug and video out. The power button is functional and the reset button opens the menu. I also created a cable from a broken controller to pass usb as seen on the retropie forum. Unfo...

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
Ideally I would liek to boot it straight into Mario Kart or Super Mario World, that would be neat. I think you can boot into a core through the "bootcore" feature, but I'm not sure if you could boot straight to a game? You can (by renaming a snes game by boot.rom) but you won't be able to save for ...

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup

This is how I did it: I got the psd file from deviantart: https://www.deviantart.com/michaelmannucci/art/SNES-Label-Template-EUR-471348229 https://www.deviantart.com/michaelmannucci/art/SNES-Label-Template-USA-471349233 I modified it with my own design (I ca...

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
I also put the Mister inside a Super Nintendo :) It's heavily inspired by this person here, so thanks to him!: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/11681/super-famicom-snes-build/2 The SSD is inside the game cartridge. I can access the mSD card from the extension port. The reset button works, it open...

Re: Newbie questions
Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to save data from a game acting as a bootrom (ex: SNES.rom)? Currently we can't, is there a way? Thank you.

Re: Bootcore feature
Thank you for this feature. It works well directly from the SD Card. However, I copied the content of my SD card to a USB Storage. Then I switched the system to boot from the USB. The Mister does boot from USB but the bootcode feature is not working in that case. Also If I switch back from USB Stora...
