Re: Oric Atmos core for MiST / MiSTica loading TAPES !!!

Excuse me rondc  it was not my intention to cause trouble. As told vebxenon we are only testing the core and the software. I was curious about this machine. Anyway I think that most tap files cannot be converted to dsk format as their loaders work only on tape. Even on Oric PC emulator most ...

Re: Oric Atmos core for MiST / MiSTica loading TAPES !!!

Hi ! Open the OricDSK Disc Manager. Do not forget to TICK BOOT, if you want to make the disc bootable. Else you'll need to boot with another disk and change it later by your image. To add TAP contents to the image. Drag TAP files on the OricDSK menuoric.png Save the disk image. Now, convert to CPC (...

DanyPPC wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:56 pm Is there a mode to convert tap to dsk compatible files ?
https://github.com/teiram/oric-dsk-manager

Just drag TAP files onto disc image. Once you've got the Oric DSK, convert it to eDSK with HxC Floppy emulator manager. Copy your new eDSK to SD and that's all.

Re: Oric Atmos core for MiST / MiSTica loading TAPES !!!

It doesn't have tape file support (just like Spectrum, CPC, Commodore 64 cores for example), and DSKs available on the net, even from Defence Force group don't work, It only reads special EDSK disks not available on the net. I have a further (and better) beta sent by rapmpa in 1st april, as the pub...

The core is working like a charm, since months ago, even was ported to MiSTer... No news, good news. What do you exactly need to know about ?

Re: MSX1 from Fabio Belavenuto for Mist and SiDi

Something similar happened with the SNES core when it started to be tested, in the end it was able to work on MIST and MiSTica with different RAM manufacturers. The big problem I see with this core is that without the help and advice of someone who knows how to solve this kind of problems, it will m...

Re: MSX1 from Fabio Belavenuto for Mist and SiDi

@slingshot: I have been yesterday making a lot of tests, in order to find the right clocks to make sdram to work. I tried it with 0 degrees, -10, -15, -25, -30, and -90, when by default it was -45. None of the possible combinations has worked for me. Then I tried to change the clocks, ck0 to 21.4772...

Re: MSX1 from Fabio Belavenuto for Mist and SiDi

ManuFerHI ! Hello !!! My MISTica has the same RAM than classic MiSTs and may be what you said about the speed of the RAM. I have been trying to synthesize several approaches and there was not success, still not working. Maybe Gyurco could do a couple of tries since he has a lot of experience with MI...

Re: X68000 core

@c64tone You're right. Using "switch" from Human prompt, you can select the RAM , from 1 to 12 MB.
It works !
SASI hd images works fine, so with bigger images for SCSI don't-

@Sorgelig
It's a very good plan. Many people gets losted when trying to configure and operate the core.
