SF314 Power Supply

So I was trying to get my old SF314 floppy working, and not a flicker of life.

I am going to assume its the power supply, I checked both fuses and they look fine. Is the power supply easy to repair? I can someone suggest an alternative power supply I can use?

Thanks.

Make sure any socketed chips are seated correctly, TOS roms etc. It's bound to be something straight forward.

netusbee usb stick image

I have tried setting up the netusbee on my falcon, and the drivers appear to work fine and detect whatever usb stick I have plugged in. However no matter what I try I cannot get any of my hard drive tools to properly detect and partition the stick. Have tried on the atari side, and event formatted i...

Display Issues

So I have recently been sorting out one of my Falcons, changed to broken hard disk for a CF adapter and card. Fitted a new 16Meg ram upgrade (only had four in it previously). Its been working fine with the VGA monitor I have connected to it, then just recently it started showing 3 large fuzzy distor...

Re: [A]tari [G]ame [T]ools - 2D prototyping engine for STE

[UPDATE] I recently fixed a stupid issue that prevented projects from being built outwith the AGT root directory. i.e. you had to keep your projects in the engine folder alongside the demos and examples (duh!) It should now be possible to build projects from more sensible locations. Great work! Tha...

Re: [A]tari [G]ame [T]ools - 2D prototyping engine for STE

Right success! I was trying to run the make of tutor0 from a place I copied it to rather than its location in the repo. So yes, the repo is in the Cygwin root in a folder called AGT, when I ran make from /AGT/tutorials/tutor0 it all worked fine and compiled me tutor0.tos. Will run through the rest o...

Re: [A]tari [G]ame [T]ools - 2D prototyping engine for STE

So adding $AGTROOT into my .bash_profile.... I copied the whole AGT folder to the root of my cygwin install so C:\Cygwin\AGT Then added the following line to the .bash_profile: export AGTROOT="/AGT" but my make clean; make on tutor0 returns an error on line 166 which is where the $AGTROOT var is bei...

Ah ok, that makes sense. Will try that, I did search for the make and couldn't find it. Will add it to my cygwin install.

Many thanks!

Re: [A]tari [G]ame [T]ools - 2D prototyping engine for STE

Any further tips for settings up the environment? I thought I had followed the instructions, got cygwin installed, cygwin crossmint, copied the bin to my home folder and added the bin path to my bash profile. But following the instructions for how to compile tutor0, all I get is bash: make: command ...

Right, the drive is as follows:

Maxtor 340MB Hard Drive
Model: LXT340SY
Serial No: 1C06103382

Thats all the interesting numbers I could find on the drive.

Hope thats of some help,

Richard.
