The previous build of Sonic 2 contains some voice samples when dying/round end, I didn't really appreciate them so I restored the original sound effects. Enjoy.

Been doing some investigating into why Sonic 2s music is off tempo with turbo enabled. Did some testing with SFX games, you are correct, all additional frame rate is lost with the new changes. I took a look at stunt race fx on the old version of turbo and I don't see any graphical glitches in first person. However that game always looks like a glitchy mess to me, so maybe I'm just mis...

A few more attempts later, I believe we have stable overclocking on SNES!

I have sent a pull request to sorg. This build fixes the sound issues present in Super Adventure Island by disabling turbo when NMI is disabled. Enjoy.

Amazing work on the Neo Geo core and supporting hardware/software. I cannot wait for my 128mb sdram module, playing Garou, SS5SP, and all the metal slugs is an absolute joy. Thank you for giving the Neo Geo new life, and prolonging it's legacy.

I'm a little late, just tried the new changes, pcm channels sound near perfect on everything I've tested. Beautiful work. FM still pops on some sounds, kof95 song 722, bass line pops.

Tried super rtype, turbo removes all lag from the game. It's beautiful. However, it fails to load sounds on occasion. Music will be missing sounds, sound effects will be wrong. Gonna need some fixes.

Just tried your build of Genesis with turbo, same issue as I had with Sonic 2, music is wrong at 3x and plays at an uneven pace. Turbo mode on snes, beat me to it. Just tested it, works great, Gradius III plays just like the sa1 build up to the bubbles on stage 2. They cause some minor lag, perhaps two turbo modes is in order. You need both turbo options 1.5 and 3, spinball is ok at both but other games like Sonic aren't happy with 3x.

Ok, figured out the issue finally. Jesus, if you can't find a var Quartus throw a error not a warning...

Btw did you try the build I posted on any of the games that have slowdown?

And out of curiosity, why would you need to disable the vdp fifo?
