Re: USB Hub board

You don't need to cut anything on v1.2, if you wanted to power from usb you would install a jumper across the P2 connector.

Re: SNES core

I read the forum, but I'm still really confused, I updated mister.ini and put a boot.rom game. I checked my monitor manual and it's very out of spec. I think this is why it does nothing at all and not even my monitors buttons work. I activated vga_scaler and now i get a picture. So I can play when ...

Re: SNES core

I can't use VGA with SNES core.
I have tried sms, genesis and nes and they all work fine with and without the scan doubler.
If I load snes core my monitor goes black and locks up, none of the buttons work.
Any ideas?

Re: I/O Board

I just want to share this fan I bought from aliexpress.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1000001291434.html

For me it runs silent on the 5v from the de10nano.
if you put your ear very close you can hear it.
and has the correct connector already.

Re: USB Hub board

Hi, I just ordered the usb hub from jlcpcb, I was quite pleasantly suprised it was only €8 for the board and €4.5 for the bridge connector x 10. €21.55 with (slow) delivery. I'll probably have a usb hub connected to everything when they arrive. I just wanted to share as I think lots of people think ...

Re: USB Hub board

I put a 0 Ohm resistor on the L-shap bridge to get the USB board powered by the nano. This works well for me. I did tried to power the nanode10 only through the USB Hub (while 0 ohm resistor in place). This does not work. Did you power through a dc jack on usb board or the usb port? My idea to is s...

Re: SDRAM board installed NES SNES GB core not working

After I made my sdram board I was getting weird results. full speed for a few minutes and then lots of error. I removed the board and cleaned the pins inside the connector I used some isopropyl and some spare pins from an arduino and now it works great. I think some of the connectors from aliexpress...

Re: USB Hub board

Hi, I think this connector could be a 'pogo pin'. they are little spring loaded connectors.
here is a youtube video of some on a raspberry pi.

Re: I/O Board

Hi someone clear up a doubt of mine, about the connector P1.
On aliexpress it has a spacer and short pins but the lcsc link has long pins.
Does it need long pins or is the one with short pins Okay?

Re: custom USB controller adapters

You don't need any other components for you converter. Just wire any retro joystick directly to its GPIO and write the firmware :) nes.png No need to write the firmware, this guy already did it (partially): https://github.com/mcgurk/Arduino-USB-HID-RetroJoystickAdapter I used this firmware for wii ...

Aliexpress smd component kits?

I'm looking into getting the components to build some io boards and rtc clocks
I found mixed kits of smd components on aliexpress.
it seems to be quite a cheap way to get a lot of the necessary parts.
Would anyone recommend this or have any experience of these kits?

I saw a seller on aliexpress that accepts paypal, For me it's very expensive and slow but could be an option for you if you really need to pay with paypal. I don't usually buy such expensive things on Aliexpress, so this is not really a recommendation but an option. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/P...

I'm in France, I have ordered my board from Mouser. Unacceptable :) In the end I went to their warehouse to have the board for the...

Re: Buying de10 nano in Europe (Spain).

I'll try mouser. Thanks for the advice here in Spain the import system is very complicated. I must go to the Airport and pay everything in person or pay someone to do it for me, it can work out to around 40% of the value. There is even a charge for storage while you pay it. so that this is already p...
