There are some hidden M2 games that they call the Near Arcade versions.

Re: Upcoming core - Game of Life
Looks really intersting @hrvoje. It would be god to see interestig cores like this end up in an ever expanding Other Cores folder. I would woul think that with all the links that the DE10-nano has to students that there are probably a quite few interesting projects out there which maybe don't fit in...

Re: What arcade boards would you most want to see in MiSTer?
I'm not actually sire which of these would be within reach for developers but I think the IGS PolyGame Master cartridge board would be fantastic as there's a good selection of games available on that board. The Cave 68000 board would be wonderful and obviously anything else that was possible up to t...

I see someone is working on gauntlet on another fpga, hopefully he finishes and it’s ported as mentioned that someone could port it mister when complete. https://youtu.be/7A2k7wLUSUU I think that @alanswx is in the provcess of contacting the author so the best person for the job is already investig...

Re: New FPGA core Oric Atmos
Just out of interest, how many hours do you estimate that you put into brining this across to MiSTer? I'm just shocked that there's such a small timeframe between you having a look at it and the first release of the core, it seems remarkably quick.Sorgelig wrote:i will look

Absolutely. I think of the systems on MiSTer that also have CD add-ons, the PC Engine is probably the best of them.

Re: PC Engine core
It's so exciting to see so much work being done on this core now, I know it doesn't have the largest library of games but it was always very much a dream sustem for me when I was a kid. Thanks, really appreciated.

Re: GBA Core porting to Mister
Working here with GBA_20200222 and Main Mister from earlier this year and Foldername "01. Now playing" Files inside can be seen, too. Only File extensions visible are .gb, .gbc and .gba https://i.postimg.cc/PCpXYjXV/01playing.jpg Ah, I thought it was the GBA core due to what I'd found. Having read ...

Re: GBA Core porting to Mister
Just noticed something interesting in the latest build of the GBA core (GBA_20200222), I'm not sure if it;s a bug though or just a change in the way it works. This is how I've arranged my GBA games on the system... https://i.postimg.cc/Ssxv1s6J/01.png This is how the display on MiSTer when trying to...

Re: NeoGeo topic
@Brendle and @mario64 Don't worry I wasn't taking issue with what either of you said and I am sorry if it sounded like I was, that wasn't the intention. Just anted to point that just because there aren't regular releases on those cores doesn't mean that there isn't work going towards those releases....

Re: NeoGeo topic
Thanks for the suggestions regarding the memory card issue. I will try them. @Brendle You're not alone in those feelings. I too purchased a MISTer primarily based on those SmokeMonster videos. The impression I got from them was that the available cores are cycle accurate and under continual develop...

Re: names.txt, let's make one
28 characters should be more than enough unless people are wanting to include every variation of the name. For me, I like keeping it simple with names like Nintendo Famicom, Sega Mega CD, etc. It's a small thing but I do like that it keeps all the multi console hardware from companies like Sega, Ni...

Re: NeoGeo romsets.xml Style File for The Arcade and Computer Folders?
I think some file for re-naming the cores for OSD can be added later. Thanks for adding that Sorgelig, really wasn't expecting anything to happen so quickly. I hope it wasnt too much of a pain. It looks like Threepwood has already started building a list for the names.txt file in this thread, obvio...

Re: NeoGeo romsets.xml Style File for The Arcade and Computer Folders?
That sounds interesting. I do appreciate people taking the time read what I said, I know that none of this is essential in slightest so being able to do things like this at some point very much is an "extra" more than anything else.Iappectae that there are far more important things out there for the...

Re: NeoGeo romsets.xml Style File for The Arcade and Computer Folders?
Yeah, thanks everybody. I do know people who change the names manually into something that's closer to the original hardware name and just pay attentiom to what's happening when using the updater script. Was just trying to think of a way around that, it's certainly not a problem as it is though. Som...

Re: NeoGeo romsets.xml Style File for The Arcade and Computer Folders?
Consoles: While it's possible, it's utterly rubbish idea. Who will make ~4000 MRAs for SNES or NES or other consoles with a lot of cores? And why instead of simply open the ROM you will have to add another file (MRA) to start it? I don't see much use of this as it saves a couple button presses. Com...
