Re: 1040 STf with scrolling problem

I have seen the problem. But a long, long time ago. I just reloaded the demo and it was fine. So I don't know if I also had hardware failure back then. I can't remember if it looked exactly like that though.

Re: blitter patch?

I removed my blitter patch. And bridged the broken track under the cpu. On the underside of the board. Works fine. Machine will not work if you don't fix the broken track underneath.

According to their website they have sent out 42. I guess that is the answer to everything. But made 60 and 25 more is almost finished.

Re: Falcon Troubles

Did you already got the cart from exxos? Test the cable on two working computers first. The diag cart in the working Falcon and a PC for example.

It could just be that the broken Falcon isn't even starting the cart.

Re: Strange thing happed while referbishing a keyboard

I think you have cleaned off the conductive carbon/graphite with IPA on either the dome or the keyboard pcb. The older they get, smaller conductive material is on them and more brittle I suppose. It just to the point in time when it's easier to wash off I guess. Just a theory though. You can get rub...

Option -> Save Desktop. Maybe highlight drive C first or have that drive/window open. I can't remember if that is needed.

Re: STFM RAM Capacitor value? Suggestions?

0,1µF capacitor. Or 100nF depending on how you write it. But it have worked before?

Probably is one or more of the ram chips faulty. Do you have a test/diagnostic cartridge to boot with?

Re: Compo software dual tos 1.62 / 2.06 rom images - where to find?

Use cartman tool and split the files in high and low. Both low on the same chip and both high on the other. Put lo/hi from 2.06 on the same adress (0000) on the two chips. Same for 1.62 but on address 2000 and onwards. As techie_alison describe in the link you gave.
