Re: Updated NetUSBee USB drivers package

3 is more than enough :) Thank you! I can't remember using more than 3 ports on a powered hub. Mouse, keyboard, USB drive; or mouse/keyboard receiver and two ports for DVD drive. And I have a printer permanently attached to the second NetUSBee port. I ought to do a mega test someday :-) Keyboard, m...

Re: Updated NetUSBee USB drivers package

I updated the package again, to include important notes and discoveries: About the use of CD/DVD drives: WARNING: Use a powered hub and connect the device to it. The NetUSBee ports may not provide sufficient power and overcurrent may occur, damaging the computer. Overcurrent protection: By default o...

I forgot to include keyboard tables for French, German and French-Canadian keyboards that I made. These will work with the Alt Gr key. Attached is the updated package.

Updated NetUSBee USB drivers package

I updated the package, attached. What's new since the 05 package: CD/DVD writers are supported when used in conjunction with Extendos and CD Writer Suite. See STORAGE doc. Support for MagiC F32 and improved support for FAT32 partitions. Tablet works under MiNT. Added support for PF1209 tablet. Keybo...

I'm just finishing CD/DVD-RW support, so that commercially available slim external USB burners work, for reading and writing, with Extendos and CD Writer Suite, both products are now free. Well this is a kick in the balls, I take that Netusbee and another I have to my workbench with my megaST4 - Using the NETUSB05 driver set.. Neither of them can be found on the MegaST4 - USB drivers.. Fn messed up. James On my MegaST with TOS 1.04 I have to run POOLFIX4.PRG prior to the USB drivers.

Re: Graphics tablet USB driver

We now know that the Wacom Intuos M (model CTH-680) doesn't work. It joins the the Wacom Bamboo (CTH-470, CTH-670) to the non-working list.

If someone has the Wacom Intuos M (model CTL-6100WL), let me know. The Wacom Intuos S (model CTL-4100) works. Also a tablet called the PF1209 (not Wacom) works.

Re: Graphics tablet USB driver

It seems that there are no standard, like there are for mouse and keyboard. Each model seems to be different. Indeed, Wacom seems to be going out of its way to make its product non-compatible amongst themselves. I have 3 different models (Intuos and Bamboo) and none of the styluses works on any oth...

Is it possible for the keyboard / mouse set to work on a single USB receiver? The device whose driver will be the first to load is currently working. I only checked two sets (Lightning ST), so maybe someone has one that works. The Logitech Unifying receiver works fine with both wireless Logitech ke...

Re: USB drivers: CD/DVD-RW support

Thanks all for your encouragement.

Warning: I too strongly recommend a powered USB hub. I would not attempt to use my DVD writer without one. My DVD writer needs two USB ports, another good reason to get a powered hub.

Re: CTPCI IDE speed

Hi. I have question. I would like to use IDE port from CTPCI , CTPCI is plugged to CT60E(with new flash) from Willy. Do I need to connect 1pin from U25(Falcon mainboard) to IRQ pad on CTPCI? That was required with CT60 from Rodolphe. Regards I have a CT63 and that was a requirement too. Finally, I ...

Re: CTPCI IDE speed

Thanks, so the transfer rate should be about doubled.

It looks like I will need to update to CTPCI_1M and probably ABE_V7F and SDR_V7D. On the boot screen, it says I have ABE/SDR 7+ and CTPCI_1E+. I wonder what's the "+" for?

CTPCI IDE speed

I'm considering adding a hard drive to the CTPCI IDE port, currently unused, after soldering the wire needed. It would be a new SSD drive, 120 GB. Will it be a lot faster than on the Falcon IDE? I tested the same drive at 3,890 kb/s, using XFERRATE.TTP. I have a CT63 running at 90MHz and normally ru...

Note that I plan to support the variable pencil size in Vision, in the next version of the USB tablet driver, by converting the pressure of the stylus on the tablet to CTRL-1 to CTRL-9.

Re: NetUSBee USB drivers package v5

Reading the Compendium, it seems that the cookie jar was always present, in all TOS versions. I run currently a 520STFM with TOS 1.04 and no JARnnn.PRG. I do need POOLFIX4.PRG before USB.PRG, or the latter crash (2 bombs). On my MegaST I used to run JARnnn.PRG, but that was to increase the jar size,...

Re: NetUSBee USB drivers package v5

Update on the problem I found: Today I found two things: 1. On TOS 1, pressing the third button of the mouse crash the computer. This is possibly because it tries to emulate the ENTER keystroke, and that any keyboard keys work only with TOS 2 and above, just like the keyboard driver. I'll look into ...
