Re: Archimedes video modes

The OSD is already full, something has to be moved a submenu, or need another restructuring (the Archie menu is specially handled in the firmware). I don't know the differences between the reset that occurs when pressing SHIFT + PAUSE and that of the right button. Is it necessary that both exist? I...

Re: Archimedes video modes

I wanted to comment something on that new RESET on the Amber CPU. I usually start with a CMOS setting to use 2 hard drives, and when I start the Cataclysm game from floppy it returns the error "Unable to move memory". I have verified that if I change the file for CMOS RAM in the OSD to one that does...

Re: [Solved] MiST Hardware Revisions? MSX-Core-Problem

In the last days I noticed that the following games don't work well: Risky Rick (https://www.arcadevision.net/msx.html) has corrupted graphics after a while; L'Abbaye des Morts (https://www.msxdev.org/2020/07/27/msxdev20-15-labbaye-des-morts/) reboots after I press Enter to play. This last is an As...

Re: MSX1PACK 3.0 like an alternative core on MiST / Mistica / SiDi

Is it a new core? I thought it's a new MSX1-only. Or is it just a fork? If it is, where's the source? (the second worst thing after just copy-pasting the source code from git instead of proper forking is to not release the modified source at all). It's only a fork from ManuFerHi. The MSX2+ core renamed. The original name was msx_mistica_esp_200427.rbf, but if I use that name too long, the arc file doesn't work.

Someone tried to use a WiFi SD card. to transfer files over the air on MIST? I have seen the TSUNAMI demo again and I have only seen two graphic glitches. In this video the graphic errors do not appear, but in the execution with the core they do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntmB5C5nJNw - 5:42: A vertical line to the left of the window where the girls are moving. - 6:41:...

Re: Oric Atmos core for MiST / MiSTica loading TAPES !!!

Is there any docs about the original Oric DSK format? Maybe would be more sense to add support for that instead of a conversion to EDSK. I prefer edsk, as they work also on the real oric with the gotek floppy emulator. The oric DSK format is only supported in oricutron. an oric emulator.... Well, b...

OK, I get it. By the way, I have published a post on this subject (in Spanish) in case someone wants to see it and find it useful Now you can use the ARC files for this purpose. You can define any number of variants for a single spectrum.rbf with different romsets. You're right. A good excuse to le...

The "Deal" has been a success and we already have Coco3 core for both MiST / Mistica FPGA16 and SiDi. On this page you can see information of the ports that Roger Taylor has made of his core for different FPGAs, and download the binaries of his cores: http://www.cococommunity.net/coco-clones-quick-r...
