Are there any other options out there for simplifying GEM? (Programming or otherwise?)
There are several options, mainly libraries built upon GEM, among them WinDom and CFlib. Depending on you language and development environment they might be worth having a look at.

Re: Multitos Beta

Btw, I for one know that Wizztronics still have the complete source code of TOS 4.9x, they purchased it for a few hundred thousands dollars from Atari back in the day for their (never released) products. Just recently Steve Cohen confirmed it to myself. Of course, he wasn't very keen to release it....

It seems that there are no standard, like there are for mouse and keyboard. Each model seems to be different. Indeed, Wacom seems to be going out of its way to make its product non-compatible amongst themselves. I have 3 different models (Intuos and Bamboo) and none of the styluses works on any oth...

On a 4Mb ST this is the only realistic options. N.AES will also work well, but it can't be distributed.
I don't think N.AES runs on a 68000. I remember I couldn't use it on my MegaST.
AES 4.1 is OK, but somewhat slow.

When somebody googles your name now he sees your website as the first result (demozoo is 3rd in my search engine), if you take your whole website down, people will see only the obsolete apps from demozoo, the ones you are so much complaining about. This is an excellent point. I hope Rajah you will ...

Hi Latz, So let me get this straight: you mean all that amazing translation work and documenting and bug reporting and testing you've been doing for years was not enough to occupy your days and you needed a new challenge 8O And not only that, you end up producing one piece of software that was sorel...

Re: Graphics tablet USB driver

Unfortunately no easily, the problem with FireTOS (and the TOS for the CTPCI) is that we need to uninstall their builtin USB drivers before we install these other drivers but there isn't a clean way to do it. Also to make a specific driver version for the FireBee won't work because there isn't eith...

Just hooked this bad boy up in my NYC office! Great job team on how everything "just works" - especially the ability to just plug in an ethernet cable and be live on the internet. That's a huge improvement over the days of past. See pic here https://cl.ly/efda6450a64d I think I would get dizzy just...

It will be working with a NetUSBee, Lightning VME and possibly Unicorn. It should wo...

Actually that's what I do if I leave my Falcon on and I need to go off for 10 mins. Any longer, I would just shutdown. Would be nice to have a sleep mode. From the CT6x official hyp guide: A SLEEP function (SLP) was even added in the hardware and manageable by a software (an ACC or a CPX) to 'sleep...

Been trying to get Twilight to work on the Firebee. Ran great on my Hades060, but seems to have a snag on the FB. I can run the demos just fine, but when it tries to kick in XaAes gives me a BUS error. Is there a setting I need to adjust or add in the XeAes.cnf file? I'm checking my TwiLight setup ...

For post-it notes, You can try Notes , from Dominique Béréziat. I think it runs on the 'Bee. As for Photoline, as far as I know the only one able to make it work is Mathias and nobody has been able to figure out how. This was discussed in this forum somewhere. However, Vision, from Jean Lusetti, mig...

You need to install NVDI. From memory, QED can also print without NVDI, and this can be set somewhere in the settings.
