Re: MiST Memory

Micron MT48LC16M16A2P-75 - Available from various ebay sellers in a number of geographical regions. You might get lucky there. If you want to buy an original product, you must do it at Digikey, Mouser, Farnell etc. Resellers of unknown origin may send you a non-original product, and the result may ...

Re: MiST Memory

It is not manufactured, it was obsolete, the original Mist has Micron MT48LC16M16A2P-75 but it is no longer found, it is possible that you can find it in the Chinese market, but I do not recommend it, the Chinese memories that are sold by Aliexpress are mostly false, They are clones that often do no...

Re: MSX1 from Fabio Belavenuto for Mist and SiDi

From the feedback I receive it works on all FPGAs that carry Alliance memory sdram, and it fails on Micron memories, SiDi as they all carry Alliance works in all, Mistica works in all those that carry the Alliance brand and original Mist only works with some Hynix memories.

MSX1 from Fabio Belavenuto for Mist and SiDi

This Fabio core has been ported by Yo_me to Mister, and ported to mist / SiDi by Rampa. The SiDi version works without problem, but the Mist version I think only works with some versions of sdram. Re: Amstrad CPC 6128/664 (NEW)

Match day 2 has an error, the menu does not stop moving as if there was a key pressed.
I found this same bug in McLeod's Amstrad core for zx-uno.

Re: YPbPr adapter.

Any core that supports YPbPr, must have the framework implemented to have support and indicate in mist.ini YPbPr = 1
What this adapter does is inject the CSYNC signal in green (SyncOnGreen).

Re: [ZX Spectrum Core] New Update

The TS-CONF core for Mister https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/TSConf_MiSTer implements GS and it sounds great, being for Mister someone with your knowledge could quickly port it to mist, and leave the Spectrum core as it was, perhaps it would take less time to port this core than to fix the core spect...

Re: [ZX Spectrum Core] New Update

Since the GS is implemented, in SiDi I have many problems for the core to be stable, I change the phase from -10º to -5º this is how it is more stable, even so sometimes it does not start well and does not work well on all boards SiDi. Tested the GS games, some do not work like Freddy Hardest, at fi...

For VGA i´m use this https://www.tme.eu/es/details/hdl15-pl-b/conectores-y-enchufes-d-sub/adam-tech/ but it serves anyone who has a rivet instead of a nut For RCAs you can use singles, I use one in the form of a strip that I buy on aliexpress, but they only sell in batches of 50 pieces. https://es.a...

Re: [ZX Spectrum Core] New Update

Since the GS is implemented, the PSG sound sounds very low, I have shifted the PSG bits at the deltasigma input to sound like before. .DACin({~gs_l[14], gs_l[13:0]} + {2'b0, psg_ch_a, 5'd0} + {2'b00, psg_ch_b, 5'd0} + {2'b00, ear_out, mic_out, tape_in, 10'd0}), You can try the core here - https://gi...

Re: LM80C core

Sorry for the off-topic in this thread, Fabio's MSX1 core does work, only he had to put the content of the sd inside a directory called MSX1FPGA.

Thanks Antonino for LM80C core!

Here, Fabio left his MSX1 core for mist, I have tried it and it boots well, but it cannot access the SD, it leaves the message that it cannot find FAT FS.

Re: [Solved] MiST Hardware Revisions? MSX-Core-Problem

Thanks for update. This port, since its birth has a problem with volume, its maximum volume is very low. The Zemmix has by default loudest sound, this is because it does not have the internal audio DAC in the FPGA, its DAC is external 5-bit R / 2R and in its conversion to the internal DAC of the FPG...

Re: MiST core and firmware changelog

The firmware could be modified so that the roms are always in ROMS directory and .cfg files also in CONFIG directory, I have an SD with all the cores sorted by directories, but the root directory is a chaos with all the roms of arcades and .cfg

This batch is defective DATECODE 1822, Mouser did not want to return even they told me that that datecode they do not have in their warehouse and that they had not supplied it. At the end of several days I threatened with legal channels and finally the amount has been refunded (40 memorys, 525€) Bew...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Just check if the pin used is a dedicated output of a PLL. Using the dedicated output greatly reduces clock delay. However if the SDRAM doesn't require any phase shift @126 MHz, then it's really fast and connected with 0 clock skew. That's why I made the PIN change, in the first prototype I didn't ...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

@ManuFerHi: Have you tried adjusting drive strength settings on the SDRAM signals? (I once had trouble on a Xilinx-based board where I just couldn't get the SDRAM to work reliably, reducing the drive strength is what finally fixed it.) How is drive strength reduced? sorry but I don't know all the q...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

SiDi is a low cost version <100€, next step is a FGPA with EP4C55 with 32mb, but expansion port for extra sdram or others things, and hdmi output, It will not rise too much in price, the goal is to leave for 150€.

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Yes, i´m use the AS4C16M16SA-6TCN sdram memory. In snes core is estable at -(1000-1500ps) sdram clk phase. Others cores not have this issue. As a curiosity, I am making a new FPGA, it is called SiDi, it has a slightly smaller FPGA and same firmware as mist, it is a very small 4-layer circuit the tra...
