Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

you will run into problem when you run Amiga games from Europe on a NTSC Amiga. And vice versa .. Test Drive is horrible if you accidentally play it in PAL mode, its subject to if the developer put in checks or coded it in a way that makes it less sensitive to the system frequency. (then there are ...

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

Most Amiga games aren't designed for NTSC. All the older original ones are .. Defender of the Crown, Test Drive, and many of the classics are too .. etc.. so I guess its your perspective that dictates the answer.. as I live in NTSC land, most of the games I care about/play ARE designed for NTSC, we...

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

It would be nice to have the floppy sounds.. there is something sigularly unique about the amigas disk drive sounds, the "tick tick tick" when looking for a disk, the loading noises, has lots of "feels" and memories associated with it, I even fitted my FlashFloppy Gotek drives with the piezo sound m...

Re: Atari ST core

Does this work with the Midilink modem emulation? I saw the usual UART settings in there, but I couldn't get any response to AT commands, regardless of baud or flow control settings. The UART is hooked to the MIDI port and there does not seem to be an option to switch similar to the "Serial Link : ...

He makes them in batches .. and with all the COVID stuff .. expect delays. So he makes them for two weeks then sends them all out in one day? You are. There are other ways to run FPGA STs (em, MIST?) so if you're really that upset you can go invest in one of those. Otherwise, don't annoy the developer please.

Thanks!

The link to the installer script is in the video description: https://github.com/bbond007/MiSTer_BasiliskII Got it working thanks! Though it was complaining about 24-bit at first .. I need to check what that was about.. BTW just on a gaff, any chance to get mini vMac working in the same way? https:...

I am sorry that you are not satisfied with my timing, but this is not a paid service. You get all of this for free. I don't even ask for donations and I don't want them. I actually spend a considerable amount of money from my own pocket on this, and I am not talking at all about the invested time. ...

It would be really nice if we had a "UNIX" drive (like Basilisk II) which gives access to the native Linux filesystem. I guess that might be asking too much...

Ash added a second vhd support. I need to check on it. I think serial (and therefore ppp) is the next most important thing. Any better way to get files on it would be great. . Please post your wish list so I can see what I’d easy and what is hard. Re: MiSTery Atari ST/STe core

Yes, the fxcast core is the current Atari ST core. According to its creator, it has very specific design goals... a cycle-accurate 68000 (8MHz I believe), all of the support chips provided in the original ST model... with TOS 1.0 baked-in. What it does, it does very well as the vast majority of gam...

Re: Mac Plus help?

on linux you can instal hfsutils and get hmount hls hcopy etc. You can mount the mac hard drive on linux and copy files, especially binhex files over with this tool. It should run on the mister itself if we compile it. Thanks .. but right now I would just love for the core to have an option to save...
