Re: Atari ST core

I follow Paradroyd on Twitter and tried the modem emulation and experienced exactly what he is talking about. Very odd! Couldn't hit /s as it sent multiple characters.

Sweet! The sounds are really cool!

BTW - I have been using CCGMS 2019 on the latest c64 since Friday and had NO issues. No garbage, no crashes. It's been prefect.

Thank you.

C64 core is now capable of using the TCP (modem) option.

Very promising. I never use higher than 2400 baud on my real c64 anyhow. Really cool!

Re: C64 Core

Do you think it would be possible to map the C=64 USER port to serial UART? It would be cool to use the TCP/MODEM option. C=64 was the first computer I had a modem for. This would be a useful feature for me as well! Same here. There are many PETSCII BBSs still running and they are active and intere...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

I have added very basic telnet negotiations to the TCP option. its on by default but can be disabled: ATTEL0 <-- disable ATTEL1 <-- enable Hopefully its enough for BBSs. I have been able to connect to telnet to my Raspberry Pi (running RetroPie) where it would hang before. Running some apps like to...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

Is there any way to change flow control of the emulated modem? (this would normally be done with at&k on a real or Wifi modem) I think being able to set at&k0 is necessary to make "64 Door" (a popular Amiga PETSCII terminal program) work. Otherwise, it starts up but the "modem" is unresponsive. I'v...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

This is really great! I'm mostly interested in the TCP modem emulation at the moment. The only gotcha I've run into is that it seems to choke with actual telnet servers (things using telnet protocol, as opposed to raw TCP), like Linux telnet servers or BBSs that expect it to answer telnet negotiati...

Awesome!. is this the same audio chip used in the Sega genesis/megadrive ? I bought a couple of YM2612 (megadrive) parts to make measurements and design a clone too, but I am really spending long hours doing this one so I will need to take a break after I'm done. This is VERY good news. Thank you!

This would be a great feature on the MiST for the c64 core. I use this a lot as well on the Amiga to connect out to various BBSs, but one for the c64 would allow us to see proper PETSCII systems and use the great 40 column terminal programs.
