Problem with Famp player
Hi. I have just reinstalled my system on my Falcon with CT60e and SV. I have problems using Famp under Mint but not under TOS. I didn't have any problems under my previous installation, so I wonder what could be wrong. I get "Warning: DSP Locked!" when trying to play a MOD-file. Thanks in advance. F...

Re: Coolest thing you've ever done using your Falcon?
My coolest thing with the Falcon was that I up until 1998 used it as my main computer and also as the heart of my recording studio. I recorded quite a lot with 8 channels in and out with Cubase Audio. When I went over to PC my creativity died due to all the stability problems PC had at that time whe...

Re: Falcon issues - very confusing
Sounds very much like RF noise is what causes the corruption. It may have worked before simply because the cable was in a different position, not exposed to as much noise. But to get things to work reliable, shield the cable and ground the shield. A shorter cable may work as well. I have the same i...

I think the quickest solution is to download NVDI.
NVDI must be first in autoboot order.

Re: COVID-19 Watcher 1.0.0
I have tested it on a Falcon with CT60e and SV with Svetlana.
I get Server not found when I try to refresh.
What have I missed, or is a non working config for this app?

Re: New CT60 Boot ROM 1.05
I tested this on why Falcon with CT60e and SV and it gave me a black screen. I flashed it back to 1.03c and it works again.
Any ideas what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.

I had similar problems with one of my Falcons. I had some coloured pixels on black screen when booting.

Re: CT60e and SV 060 v 030
When you run in 030 mode you have to use the VGA out on the Falcon if you have SV installed.
I have a VGA switch for my Falcon, where I can switch between 030 and 060-SV mode.

What temp readings do you get? The readings are often way off the reality.

Talking about the Falcon, I would recommend JAM IN and OUT from Line Audio. It's the ultimate
analog in and out boxes for the Falcon. I used them in my studio until 1998.

Re: CAF with SCSI to SD adaptor
I know of the specific version of HDDriver as I have used CAF for professional recordings for several years.
But I don't rely on old SCSI disks and are looking for a more modern solution.

CAF with SCSI to SD adaptor
Hi all.
Is there anyone using Cubase Audio Falcon successfully with a SCSI to SD adaptor?
If yes? What kind of adaptor and version of HDDriver?
Thanks in advance.

Re: MIDI Hardware/Software recommendations?
Sorry for interrupting this thread, but I wonder how the CBX-D5 is used with a Falcon for audio?
When I was recording with Falcon back in the days I used JAM IN 8 and OUT 8. I have never heard
about the CBX-D5, and it sounds very interesting.

Re: Original video clock to SuperVidel
I have made the mod as described in the manual, but I don't know if it's good or bad.
It's a very easy mod, so I guess it's recommended to do.
One game that I have played that take advantage of both CT60 and SV, is Robinsons Requiem.
It's superfast compared to standard Falcon.

Re: Mouse buttons come and go
At some point mouse buttons wear out. Maybe that's the issue? (That can cause weird issues, e.g. mouse buttons being pressed down too long, or generating extra clicks.) The two different mice of course work fine on all my other Ataris .. :) I could've mentioned that of course. Is it working with or...

Re: Mouse buttons come and go
My Falcon is having a difficult relationship with its mouse buttons. This happens in both stock 030 mode and accelerated CT60e, and it happens both with a PeST connected PS/2 optical mouse as well as with a Smallymouse2 connected USB one. All of a sudden, mouse button presses stop registering. It t...

Test to reseat the CT63 on the expansion port. You can get this type of issues
with just a slightly bad connection.
