Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
Did you use the Antonio's board SDRAM_XXSD from "Hardware-alternative" https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Hardware_alternative and soldered the SMD connector, such as Samtec SSW-120-22-G-D https://cz.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Samtec/SSW-120-22-G-D-VS-P?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvffgRu4KC1RxM6nKwEP14AM0KI7HHg8NRmM2UA...

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
Thank you very much. I have changed the diode and the reset works perfect.
I planned to use the SRAM for some my tests, but I have to remove it anyway, as it has collison with the heatsink on SoC.
The 128 MB would be great. Which memory board did you use?

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
Sorry to bother again. I got some time this weekend so I try to finish my Pi-Top build, but the short press of power button for hardware reset as described here https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/wiki/Pi-Top-v1#buttons is not working for me. I have a wire connected from Pi-Top Hub test poin...

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
I have received the missing ferrite beads and resistor and connected the speakers. Both play great, but the volume control is not working. While the audio plays normal, I think it is connected correct. Is there anything to configure to be able to set the volume? The volume is grayed out in F12 core ...

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
Great, thank you very much. I have compiled the MiSTer binary and now the brightness works correct.

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
And one more thing. There is a note in Wiki that it is possible to use hardware reset button by short press of power button but it requires hardware modifications of DE10-nano. What shall I do? Actually HW mod of DE10 is not required. Normal reset connection is fine. Just connect the wire to pitop ...

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
Brightness works through i2c if i remember correct. So did you connect i2c? If you don't use RTC board then make sure you use pull-up resistors on i2c signals. Brightness control tends to hang if something unusual happens, and since it's always under the power (even when PiTop is powered off!) you ...

Re: MiSTer in Pi-top case
I am in a process of building Pi-Top MiSTer. It goes quite ok, most of the things seem to work great. I am able to run all Cores. I forgot to order ferrite beads and one resistor (620k) for the audio part so no audio yet, but there is no brightness working. I am not sure how it is supposed to work. ...

Re: Sharp MZ Series Emulator
I tried OSSC with Sharp MZ core today. I was able to get picture on VGA input nad HDMI output while Linemult. mode set to x4. However there is no picture in MZ-700 mode, the signal is out of spec :( and loosing sync (red LED on OSSC). No success with direct VGA connection to my other 2 VGA monitors ...

Re: X68000 core
I have to say thanks to OhIshi. He helped me with config file and it looks like that it should countain HDF file even if you do not use it. I also removed SRAM file from it and now I am able to start Gradius, Flappy end even Cho Ren Sha. On the ohter hand, the games are really not playable. Well the...

Me too. The lef/right movement is strange and sometimes it does not allow you to move when it should be possible.

Re: X68000 core
This is what I tried, but no success. Could you, please, send me your Gradius Demo D88 file to my e-mail martin@8bity.cz ? I usualy end up stuck on messgae "The system could not be starated. Please reset." (in Japanese) or "X68000 terminal V1.0" message while booting the disk.

Did you get any game to run? I converted few to D88, but none succeeded
My favorite is Chou Ren Sha, but I tried Gradius, Flappy, even HUMAN 3.0.2 did not start

Re: CosmosEx - SCSI version poll
I plan to use it in ST, so I would buy it as it is. On the other side, I would buy it anyway
I use external SCSI2SD in Falcon for data transfers.
