Re: Mounting a Folder on Linux

Thanks for your help everyone! I was just blind to the GEMDOS/directory option. I have no idea why. I have one question. In the manual it says accessing HD image files is easiest with EmuTOS. It supports both ASCI and IDE interfaces, regardless of emulated machine type, and understands DOS pa...

Mounting a Folder on Linux

I have been able to mount a folder as a hard drive in the past, but now I'm getting this issue: Can not use the hard disk image file /home/schmudde since its size is not a multiple of 512 Right before reset. It's always '/home/schmudde' no matter what directory or what physical drive I use. Some vit...

I'd love to check this out. Seems to be down currently? I've tried both telnet and http.

Re: New Yamaha Genos being used with Atari ST

Wow, what a thoughtful and well done demo. Very cool and thanks for sharing!

The MIDI import between Notator, Atari Logic, and macOS Logic was especially cool.

Ensoniq ESQ and ESQ-Apade

I've read the ESQ manual and follow the directions for ST PROG TO MIDI but cannot get it to dump to my ST running ESQ-Apade.

Does anybody have a copy of the ESQ-Apade manual or perhaps experience with this librarian and the ESQ? I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly.

Thanks!

Re: Ideal Atari Sequencer

Do not underestimate Passports Master tracks Pro. You can get the original version absolutely free and legit. No crack. Passport kindly offered this abandonware for free unlike steinberg. Its a cubase eater! As molofaha kindly pointed out, is it possible to see the notes of multiple tracks at the s...

Re: atarimusic.net site move

I have it in mind to mass email all members to get people back to uploading there, as people are still creating music, but its scattered over various forums and youtube, people are not using the site as a central hub for their music anymore. So there are people about, but why do they not use AMN an...

Re: Flight Sims

I was just thinking about this. I love love love many of the Microprose titles already mentioned. When I got a PC that could run F-15 Strike Eagle III , I might have shed a tear because I thought the simulation was so exquisite. I could see more sophisticated controls being important to today's flig...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire

I didn't really enjoy the show's melodrama and stopped watching it midway through the first season. I absolutely love the opening credits though. Could watch and listen to that on repeat.

Re: MiST and MIDI questions

So far on this thread options for a 1X4 MIDI Thru box seem to be limited to the MIDIMan model and MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru (which requires soldering on the FPGA? or Quadra board?) to facilitate the 5V draw. Has anyone else tested other manufacturer's thru boxes? Although I'm sort of wary of being...

Re: Atari Corporation - Business is War book?

Does anyone have any updated information on when (or if) this book will be published? Obviously Marty would be the man with the best knowledge. I believe Curt, the co-author, decided to prioritize the delivery of the Atari 7800 expansion module over shipping the book. The 7800 expansion still hasn'...

Re: Ideal Atari Sequencer

For me personally, and this has been well versed, I would stick with either: 1. Notator SL3.21 or Notator Logic, of course these gave birth to Logic X 2. Cubase v3.1 or Cubase Score (Cubase is simply my preference, however others prefer 'Notator') 3. Often forgotten about, Breakthru 1 or 2. It is q...

Ideal Atari Sequencer

Hey everyone, I have a MiST box and I’m getting back into Atari sequencing. I started out on Cubase years ago and I’ve just become a little disenchanted with what’s happening with MIDI sequencing on the Mac. I’d like to go back to the basics. I chose Atari because the “basics” are really powerful. I...

Re: MiST and MIDI questions

Has anyone tried running full versions of Hybrid Arts Edit Track version 6 or 7? Full versions of this software do not need a dongle. I tried it over the weekend. Edit Track v7.10. I have a pretty up-to-date MiST box: * Firmware r1203 * Core_150708 r1202 * TOS 2.06 I recorded MIDI (MIDI In) and had...
