Re: MiST - FPGA ST

I'm back!!!. Impressive work 8O 8O 8O  Great! I hope you aren't too discouraged by the fact that some of your changes were removed during the rewrite of the video controller. But I am sure the new version is much easier to work on. Do not worry, you did a perfect job. When time allows I wan...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Thanks MasterOfGizmo keep up the good work :) Thanks! I am now pretty much done with the features i initially planned for the ST/STE core. Only thing missing is a 16Mhz mode. I am not sure if the th68k cpu is the way to go for this. Fortunately there are alternatives like ao68000 and j68. The whole...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

More STE fun ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgpYiOwW114 Still not finished, but most features work. This is available as r189 in the repository. YM and DMA audio are currently just mixed together as the LMC1992 audio filter is still missing (although the mircowire is already there...). Any digi...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Get guys, can I ask I question? Anyone else experiences joystick not responding in some titles, or behaving erratically? I think my joystick is in perfect shape, but in some games it seems to have a mind of its own in what it does... from auto-firing to moving randomly. Also, a feature request : is...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

@MasterOfGizmo: yeah, we had actually discussed this briefly through email I think, I was just saying. A man can dream, can't he? :D But as Arkemath and Methanoid say, 8-bit cores (Atari, Speccy, Amstrad) would be very nice... Heck, I could maybe offer a prize myself through CPCWiki.eu for a CPC co...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Just back from vacation, so good to see things moving forward! I wonder if there could be a text file on the server detailing each core version... So, 156 has jcgamestoy's changes with scanlines etc (wow, thanks so much man!), but 159 has blitter and not his improvements? Thank's and don't worry r1...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

You've been added. Great to have you on board! In the repository you'll also find the blitter. It's still buggy, but it's getting better day by day. Well changes online in r156. I "cooked" a beta firmware (bin/firmware/beta/firmware_130822.upg) and a core (bin/cores/mist/core_22_08_13.rbf) with my ...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

I have mine and is amazing. The minimig core works perfectly. The Mist core almost. I made a modified firmware to change the num lock with the scrool lock because my keyboard (logitech k400) dont have a numeric keypad and works like a charm. I also compile a modified Mist core with a resolution of 7...

What a lucky man! I'm dying of envy.

Mmmmm A 68020. This has a 32 bit bus so 32Mb Ram are possible. (And the 1200 Amiga emulation closer)

Fantastic News!

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

The firmware update over USB is implemeted? It's not "implemented". That's just an inherent feature of the ARM controller used. You need to set a jumper and do some power-on power-off magic. But you don't need more than the USB cable for emergency flashing. Normally you don't even need that. Instea...
