Re: Dilemma: Mega STE or not Mega STE?
Hi, For question number 5 I suggest to consider the scsi2sd option since ultrasatan with adapter for internal usage won't allow you to use the external acsi port animore (as I learnt from lotharek). My scsi2sd works great inside my mega ste and I still have the opportunity to use an external ultras...

Hi all,
I'm looking for a ready to use cable to connect my cosmosex to the external floppy port of my MegaSTE.
Do you know where to find one?
Cheers

Dear all, I received my fantastic monster board a couple (maybe more) of weeks ago (many thanks Alan!), ordered and received my plcc extraction tool (Amazon) but I'm still not able to pop out my 68000 from the ste socket... It actually doesn't move, no matter how I force it. Am I missing something? ...

Re: HD Driver on the MiST?
If one could use the second partition with hddriver and format it using dos/windows compatibility then transferring files from pc to the mist will be easier. Just like a real st with an ultrasatan (except for the fact that I need the first partition for the core files and maybe some useful floppy im...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST
Dear all,
I solved my MSX MIST sd write problem using a real 2gb sd card. In my previous setup I used an 8gb sdhc with a 2gb fat formatted partition and the remaining space on the sd as unpartitioned space. The problem with 2gb sd is that they're a bit harder to find these days.
Cheers

Huge success here with scsi2sd in my mega ste!! using --no-parity and --blocks=2048000 options and using a jumper on terminator power the device is recognized by the system and perfectly partitioned by HDDRIVER. Hi, I just received a scsi2sd board from Michael and I just tried to use it on my Mega STE as internal HD. Dear eeun,
I do also consider Pera's games collection really cool but I'm not able to run 80% of the titles for low ram occupancy issues. Do you experience the same problem?
