If you have an old PC power supply try to power the floppy from there, the STFM also spins the motor at boot so why does that not chrash it if its the power supply?

I have an Atari STFM like you and in its days I also bought the Marped Xtra ram, If you can solder follow the instructions in this manual http://dev-docs.atariforge.org/files/Xt ... Manual.pdf
It works, did this when I was 15 :-D still works with 2.5mb ram

The one I have is the C-lab mk1, seems like a IDE port so will try it later to check.
