Cubase 2 and 3 work just fine on this machine. Before that my main Music / MIDI workstation was a Mega ST 4 with TOS 2.06 and I...

Looking for the Steinberg Soundworks Casio FZ-1 software

I am looking for the Steinberg Soundworks Casio FZ-1 software. I have the dongle for Soundworks FZ-1, but I lost the software. Is anyone here who can and would like to share, please? Thank you. PS: "Soundworks" was the name for Steinberg's sample editor software series for Ensoniq Mirage, Akai S900,...

Re: Custom Atari Hotz MIDI Translator Rackmount - 1U

Honestly having been quite skeptical of the software in itself (which may have also contributed to my delay in finishing it), I'm really glad it's finally done since it has proven to be a far more useful means of creating music with ease than I had expected (dare I say surprising even), just requir...

Wow.

Thanks for sharing.

So the rack unit pictured in the photos above contains the MiST FPGA, emulating an Atari ST and running the Hotz software? I'd love to see more pictures about your rack mount computer.

Thanks. I downloaded the two disks from a long gone FTP site in New Zealand (Halvard, or so). I don't know if this FTP site was ever mirrored. Maybe someone over here remembers?

"Halvard" had a lot of MIDI-related stuff.

I'm intrested too. But rather than using an old hard drive (which I have more than enough sitting around), I would also prefer Compact Flash or SD Card.

Teac FD-05HGS SCSI floppies are expensive over here. But I'll keep a search going and hopefully one will show up. The FD-05HG no S are available but they have the wrong connection. Yes, you'll need the version that came with the additional SCSI board. HP and Dell had these SCSI floppies in some of ...
