Battle Valley (Hewson)
This was announced and the Amiga manual has also instructions for ST. That may be the reason some websites list it. I can't find any proof of an actual release, has anyone seen this game or any info about the ST port?

Re: Hatari zooming / full-screen
Had a discussion with Eero via pm about fullscreen/zooming, and he was suggesting it would be best to have this in public for possible public benefit. I was struggling to make Hatari put out a proper picture with custom resolutions that resemble the original Atari ST (e.g. 384x288) as Hatari kept li...

Emulator that is capable of 15 Khz fullscreen?
I've setup a VGA-Scart connection (Notebook to TV, OS is Windows XP) which displays resolutions such as 720x288 or interlaced modes fine. I'd like to have the picture close to an original Atari (not an interlaced mode). But I'm having trouble getting any emulator display fullscreen properly - it see...

Re: New Android Port
It's my understanding that a proper port to Retroarch like that is attempted there would open the door to lots of platforms, including Blackberry, Wii, etc. it seems from the recent posts the author could do with some assistance of Atari enthusiasts, if only for testing on Android, which seems to be...

Re: Chasing The Bumblee (my new ST blog)
Unfortunately the problem with using sites like Atari Legend is the information is often not entirely accurate - you only have to compare those search results with the listings on Mobygames and Little Green Desktop, you'll find you get completely different results for each one. For example, the Ata...

Re: Generally about incompatibility
I've got a question regarding this: I noticed that some game releases state not only that they need 1 MEG on the cover, but also list only the models that came with that amount of RAM (e.g Atari ST 1040 etc.) As an example, see http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st-knights-of-the-sky_9761.html Is ...

Re: Question about Infocom game release dates
It's likely they were among the first ST titles. Infocom's "New Zork Times" newsletter states the following in the summer 85 issue: Can you name the sixteen software titles that run on the new Atari ST? If not, we'll give you a hint: Zork I, Zork II, Zork III, Deadline ... and Wishbringer. Thanks to...

Yuppies Revenge (German) - gets back to desktop
After the arrival in New York, a loading screen displays, but then the game throws me back to the Desktop. Unlike Hanse, using Tos. 1.00 doesn't help here. I usually only use Steem, but the same problem also appears in Hatari. Is there a known working configuration or emulator?

Re: Auto duel - highres compatible?
Indeed it does, many thanks.
I was already quite surprised to find games like Ultima 3 being listed mono-compatible in Gamebase, maybe there are still some other cases of "undiscovered" mono-compatibles.

Auto duel - highres compatible?
It's listed as mono-compatible over at Atarimania
http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.p ... N_ID=11136
Can anyone confirm this? It doesn't boot for me in highres mode from the automation disk, and the tosec dump is marked as bad (won't boot either).

Re: WTB : Pool of Radiance - Curse of the Azure Bonds
I don't consider that review to be proof of an actual ST-release of Pool. The way it's worded doesn't necessarly imply the reviewer played it on an ST. I don't think people are lying either, but memories may be fuzzy. If Pool was released (I wouldn't rule out that some version got leaked or somethin...

Re: WTB : Pool of Radiance - Curse of the Azure Bonds
The evidence that Pool of Radiance is vapor is indeed overwhelming, but Curse was released. According to Steem's disk base it's on Automation 428 and Supergau 835/836 among others. Check planetemu.net.

Dweaby's quest and missing games by the same designer?
Is there a story behind it? Dweaby's quest caught my attention, because it was apparently an exclusive ST-release by Epyx. I just looked at the Atarilegend page, and noticed the quote by the designer (it's William Anderson) . He says he worked on two other games - "Legends The Tower of Doom" and "Le...

Well, here's what I know - the games you mentioned were indeed re-released together later as trilogy. I don't know if there's any difference to the original releases, but it might be worth to look for them. The original Hanse might give problems with later TOS versions (according to TOSEC it only ru...

Thanks. Planetemu is indeed a fantastic site, I got most of my disks in the past from there. But it doesn't "know" more than Steem's disk-database and my Romcenter DAT, hence my requests  . It seems I just found an older version of "Project airline" there it seems though, it's called Airline m...

Some rarer stuff and two German versions
I've been going through the Atarilegend database in search for interesting stuff, and I found most disks I was looking for, except the following: - Champion of the raj (tosec is missing the 3rd disk, version on Games compilation 4 didn't work for me) - GFL Championship football (Activision) . Appare...

Take a look at the attachment. This is from the 2/92 issue of the German Powerplay magazine. According to the advert, the two titles that are bolded weren't available yet. They also list a Krynn title for the ST, but since they don't list it for the Amiga, I guess it's safe to assume it's just an er...

Loved this game and Laser Squad. More recently I really loved Dungeon Keeper (1 & 2) which are cool and in a similar style. I discovered much later that the folks who were behind LoC are the same that developed the X-com series. I never noticed the similarties back when I played those games. Their ...

Games by Simulations Canada - how many were released?
Atarilegend lists one of that publisher. I have seen some advertising around 91/92 which lists all games for DOS also available for the ST, and at HOL I could see there are a few games available for the Amiga. I'm mostly just curious though, not because I'd like to play more of them desperatly, I tr...

Hi, I downloaded the 0.2 version sometime ago directly from the website. Now I discovered that this gamebase has been updated and is available here - that's great.
