Re: Problem with CTPCI ?

This problem has been solved, and as it turned out, another one with a USB card and mouse working described here:

viewtopic.php?f=97&t=38515

the whole problem was in the Xillinx chip, its replacement solved all problems :)

Re: New CT60 Boot ROM 1.05

I want to give this version a try. At the moment I have the following version installed (but no ctpci, that was planned but now my ct63 is back in the falcon's original case): Boot v2.02 beta 15 11/05/2014 22:58 Sorry for offtopic but, it is very interesting I am the user of CT63 and CTPCI, but I h...

Re: Problem with CTPCI ?

This is not a problem, I use an IDE2SD adapter in both falcons, I can easily replace them, but it does not help :(

Problem with CTPCI ?

Hi, I have a weird problem with CTPCI? A few days ago, after the CT60e malfunction, I wanted to connect the CTPCI again. I don't really know what the problem is and I'm trying to diagnose it. The configuration is as follows: CT60e +CTPCI+ Radeon 9250. I plugged in everything that seems to work OK, t...

Re: Calamus SLC - low memory

@latz, @Frank.Lukas thank you very much I set in my Calamus SLC205 in this module "Systemparameter" for example 9Mb of ST-RAm and 2MB TT-RAM and I can save TGA in this resolution directly on disk using SnapIT.ACC or FVDIsnap.acc. This snapshot has about 6MB (TGA format). This resolve the problem wit...

Re: Calamus SLC - low memory

What about XaAES snapshot functionality since you're running FreeMiNT anyway? That won't help much if Calamus does not leave enough memory: 1920x1080x32bits = ~8MB of video memory. No matter what snapshot program you use, you will need at least that amount of free memory, plus any temp memory neede...

Re: Calamus SLC - low memory

@mikro: I resolve the problem if I want use Calamus and XaAES, only built-in snapshot in XaAES it is working with Radeon. I can not use external snapshot like xaaesnap.prg or other snapit like accesorium, but still I have a problem in TOS, frank.lukas is right Calamus works best in single TOS :). Ca...

Thanks for your comments, it is not a problem that the free memory shows badly, but how to solve the problem of finding a good snapshot for TOS.

Calamus SLC - low memory

Hi, On the beginning I use CT63+CTPCI+Radeon video card resolution 1920x1080x32 bits (TOS or MiNT). Memory 14 + 512 MB. I have two questions or two comments: First note: After launching Calamus SLC 2015 (I loaded all modules :)), in TOS or under MiNT, IN CONTROL PANEL in CPX (CT60 Config) shows a st...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

Today my CTPCI came back to me, of course I did tests with DMA or without it. After running TOS, the mouse works for sometimes 20 seconds, sometimes more, but then a message appears on the screen. The system still works, but I can use a mouse connected to the standard keyboard ports. Mouse.jpg The n...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

I have beta 11 but that one causes my HDD to be corrupted. I think Didier was testing with XHDI stuff. USB Keyboard - according to David, the issue was fixed in beta 12 but I do not have it. Pity that Didier stopped work. I think it is the tools that are not working well - like the gcc compiler tha...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

I don't know the default state. Simply test with both? Can't find that setting in my CPX, though. My CPX says "V2.02 Sept 2012". Settings: FPU "on", speed 95.000MHz, "/5" (what's that mean?), SCSI arbitration "on" with ID 7, Blitter "fast", video.log "on", TOS "Cache 5", boot.log "without", IDE "CT...

Is that USB mouse? or the USB card ? If I use USB mouse, the cursor is not moving correctly. I test with USB mouse and my friend with other usb mouse too, the cursor is moving correctly. Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

I have some interesting news from RJ1307 He tested and the same bahaviour with or without Radeon card. As a curiosity I received from a friend. You turn on the computer and won't move it, nothing happens even for two hours. Just moving the mouse for a few seconds will cause it to hang. Very strange ...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

Hi, did you test the cards one-by-one, means Radeon+Realtek, Radeon+USB? Same behaviour? Yes exactly Are the voltages on CTPCI slot board stable (with 2 or more cards mounted)? The pop-up wongck mentioned was caused by FreeMinT, this is fixed since a few months. Latz Yes, completely independent of ...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

A short time is how long... 15 minutes ? It is much faster a few seconds, maybe a little longer, it's hard to say, it can be seen especially in the case of mice because the message appears, it can take different 20-30 seconds. I have used my CT63, Radeon and Realtex for like 1+ hours transferring s...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

I don't really use my USB card on my CTPCI so I cannot say much about the USB part. But I think there is a pop-up due to asking you to use a proper TOS version or something like that. OK I see, but do you use Realtek card? I have a similar problem on the network card, it breaks the connection after...

CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

HI, I decided to start a new thread about this problem. I have CTPCI, which doesn't work well with a USB or Realek card. At the beginning I will say that it was tested on different Falcon motherboards, different CT6x, ribbon cables, additional working USB cards and realtek on another CTPCI unit. The...

Re: CT63 TOS builtin network driver configuration

Yes normally for CAB & Highwire it is just the correct network overlay module needed. It is tricky to know which one to use. I think commercial CAB can auto select -- really nothing difficult just need to look for corresponding cookie in their coding, others should just do that  . Pity that h...
