Re: Atari ST to Commodore 1084s monitor
Do I need a modulator to connect an ST to a 1084S or does it also work with my STF?

Change drive (Vortex hdplus)
Hello,
is it possible to change the drive from a vortex hdplus?
As far as I understand it has some built-in ACSI-to-SCSI-thing!?
So can I just use a different SCSI-harddrive?

Re: 1040 STF to TV - no colour!
There was only one "setting" on the old TV- but I´ve already got a "new" one and everything works fine.
Seems like the old TV had scart, but not RGB.
Problem solved, thank you for your answers!

Re: 1040 STF to TV - no colour!
Yes, PIN 8 (DIN13) is connected to PIN 8 (SCART), so it´s time to get rid of the crappy tv-set...

Re: 1040 STF to TV - no colour!
Problem solved... kind of... at least partially...
It works with the second scart-port on my second tv.
The other tv-set is still on strike. Are there scart-ports which do not handle RGB-signals?

Re: 1040 STF to TV - no colour!
I´m getting to desktop- no problem so far. (No problem means: ST is booting and working... picture as described above.) Of course I´ll only get low and medium resolution... What kind of altering could the scart-cable need? 2 (Atari) is wired to 20 (TV). How should I persuade my TV to switch to RGB (...

1040 STF to TV - no colour!
Finally I´m a proud owner of a 1040 STF again... and it works perfectly with the SM124. The problem: When I connect it to my TV (tried on 2 different TVs), there is NO colour, not even greyscale. The scart-cable seems to be wired correctly, but some of the ground-/mass-pins are not connected- but th...
