You can find the code of the current release here: http://code.google.com/p/steem-engine/ - with a few tweaks to help it compile against newer version of the libraries. See the win...

Re: Looking for few games with trainer

If you have a copy of the Power Pack Compilation version of Bombuzal you could use my ancient Cheat Machine program I made in the early 90s to give you infinite lives, infinite time, walk on air (to stop falling down gaps), invincibility to exploding bombs, turn off sprite collision.

No, the screenshot just reminded me of "Law of the West" ingame whilst the game you picked was just the ...

Re: c translation to basic

It's really quite obfuscated, I think it could be better written and easier to understand as this (which should be easier to convert):- This is just a quick conversion so it may have mistakes... //assuming true = 1 ( false always = 0) if (var1 < 3) { var1 = var1; //(do nothing) } else { if (var1 > 4...

Re: Konix Speedking with 2 fire buttons, only 1 works on atari?

The standard atari joystick interface only used 7 of the 9 pins, pin 9 was not connected and pin 7 was 'reserved'. I can't remember any atari joysticks that had independent fire buttons not on the C64 or the ST which had Atari joystick support as standard. I do vaguely remember there were some spect...

Re: Hatari version 1.0.0

Thanks,

I seem to be having problems with various commandline options with the win32 compile here, most work (eg -D, -m etc) and others like "hatari --help", "hatari --trace" , "hatari --trace help"seem to do nothing at all, I'm I being a bit dense?

And documentation is important you can't work everything out, there is a lot of features in the boiler room but I'm not convinced of how useful they are - which features do you use regularly and which have you never used? I think I've used more or less all features, depending on the task. With the ...

Seems I opened a right can of worms here with the STeem debugger fan boys, sorry I upset you all but I'm just stating how I PERSONALLY see the STeem debugger for my OWN uses. At this time STEem is the best emulator with debugging abilities and will still use it if I need to - I didn't mean to have a...

On a purely selfish note I'd love to see MESS ST emulation as it brings 2 things that ST emulators have lacked so far.... A world-class debugger which blows all the current frankly piss-poor ST emulator debuggers clean out of the water. Really? What MESS debugger has that Steem's one doesn't? Well ...

MESS is updated every month You can have a look at progress page here: http://mess.dorando.at/svn I've been following the Atari ST MESS emulation for years (though it's been a stagnant test driver till a few months back).
