Modern replacement psu for Tt030 / Mega STE
Is there a currently available modern psu replacement for Tt030 / Mega STE? I found reference to one from several years ago at the following link which is gone now. It's unclear whether these were NOS or updated like the Exxos Falcon psu. Thanks http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=25700 http:...

TT Video Interference
I'm experiencing video interference on my TT, and wonder what the causes could be. It is particularly an issue during floppy disk access for example. Is it my power supply, the need for more shielding, or even just the position of power cables in the case?
Thanks

Re: Last version of Logic Audio Falcon?
I was always hoping to find someone that could remove the dongle limitation from 2.5. I wanted to use it on at TT, and have several dongles btw, but due to timing differences it would rarely pass the copy protection check on most TTs. I think I only found one TT that would run Logic some of the time...

Re: Dave Small SST installed and (nearly) working
Mine was installed by Dave Small, and worked fine for a number of years. One day I turned it on and during it's rom checks it gets bombs. I can't remember the exact message at this point, but maybe some memory went bad or something. I never touched the installation prior to the failure :/ It will be...

Re: WANTED: Atari STbook
I have two ST Books but only one working power supply. As far as I was able to find out, it is a proprietary power supply. I can't really sell the ST Books until I get the power supply fixed. I may send it to a re-capping service since that is probably the issue.
Cheers

I wouldn't mind having a TT that runs Logic without failing dongle check. Let us know if the interested party doesn't work out.

Re: best in americas worst practice what a daft fool
OK so my ceramics are like this. All of the ICs I've ever purchased were packaged in the black foam or in these clear tubes that Wongck displayed. This includes computer parts, synthesizer parts, and general project parts from American and European suppliers. Also, just for the sake of saying so, I...

Re: Mega STE - Hard Drive Upgrade?
I believe the built-in controller is limited to 1gb. I have had good luck with a Seagate Hawk 50-pin SCSI 1gb drive. Compact Flash can also be done with a series of compatible adapters and the correct hard disk driver.

Re: Yamaha SCSI-IDE on Mega STE
As I mentioned, some removable CF cards seem to work fine, specifically the 2gb cards I have tested, while the 1gb version of the same brand and series does not work. An IDE hard drive will work, but the entire purpose of this effort is to get away from moving parts, and I'm fairly confident that ne...

Update: It seems the problem may be specific to certain Compact Flash cards in combination with the Yamaha and MSTE. Re: Is it possible to add a SCSI HD to a Mega STE?
AFAIK, the internal hard disk in the MSTE was never an ACSI drive mechanism (since I am not aware of such a thing). ACSI ports can be connected to RLL/MFM, SCSI, or newer SD host adapters, but the MSTE should have had an internal SCSI host adapter built-in. As such, the internal SCSI drive that fail...

Re: SCSI 68 pin - 50 pin converter - ok for Atari?
The adapter I am running is the 80/68 > 50 pin, I am having some issues as described above. Is it possible to format the drive to within the ST or Falcon limits? ie. 18GB SCSI 3 (80 pin) formatted to 4 x 1GB. It is possible to partition a drive to use less than the entire space of the drive, for ex...

Re: Utility to read Atari TOS diskettes on Windows
Greetings,
I do not need to image the diskettes, but rather to read the individual files that could not be read on the Atari systems. Also, WindowsXP is not a requirement, as I have Windows98 and DOS systems available.
Thanks
