New Aranym configuration

Hello I have worked on new ARAnyM configuration. The target is to present several case of use of ARAnyM on one configuration, not only the usual used of this emulator. With this configuration you can choose to: - Run standard, MMU or JIT version - Use Emutos or TOS or Mint - With Mint run in protect...

Re: TeraDesk 2020 build

MyAES do a simplified management and suppose only 2 message can't be sent to target client in same time but this very low risk, in this case Zview work nice with Teradesk in memory protection. That might work for simple cases, but to do it right, there would iMHO be quite some management needed. Fo...

Re: TeraDesk 2020 build

possible fixed on new version IIRC, this was a bug in the windom library being used. Good to know Another solution use MyAES that fix this issue at fly. How do you handle that? I already thought about implementing such a thing for XaAES. This is quite simple, AV protocol use appl_write() so the pat...

Re: TeraDesk 2020 build

I do not know if this is a Teradesk, Zview or Mint issue. If I have memory protection ON and load Zview inside Teradesk, Teradesk quits with no message or error and I have to relaunch it from Xaaes. This is a Zview issue with AV protocol, possible fixed on new version, this is not Teradesk issue. A...

Re: Help needed for form_do() replacement for passwords

Hello
I not understand very well your code, why do you do an obj_draw() I think objc_edit(..., ED_CHAR) not redraw the object ? Why not push simply '*' rather char in objc_edit() ? In this case you have just to verify char is valid for your field

Re: New Kronos bench version

Yes, i know that the CPU value for JIT is rather useless, but i thought that should be fixed with the new version. I never got such a message with the 2.02 version. Hello Otto, Previously I not displayed the message but result was already missing. For the first issue, try download again the archive...

Re: Alternative ZIP packers/depackers for Atari?

I quote https://atari.joska.no/VanillaMiNT/ : Warning: Do not use ST-Zip if you unpack the archives on your Atari, ST-Zip is very old and outdated and may not extract all the files correctly. I agree ST-ZIp is outdated and slow. What alternatives are available to depack and (if possible pack) ZIP a...

Re: Nova and MyAES

No luck with TT-Medium and MyAES... I just realized I have 2MB of ST-RAM. Does MyAES require 4MB? I've run into that with a few things. (I have 256MB of TT-RAM.) MyAES not require any ST-Ram but need minimum 8Mb of Ram (TT-ram is ok) some version can run in 4Mb but really it is not useful! (stay ar...

Re: Nova and MyAES

I just installed a Nova+ET4000 in my TT and got it working great at 1024x768x256. I want to get MyAES 0.97 going with it now so I can have a pretty desktop to show off. I copied the 68020 distribution of MyAES into my GEMSYS folder as the readme file says but MYAES020.PRG crashes with a bus error a...

Hello you should be able to do faster in theory you should be able to do 2 instruction in same time but I think issue is link to memory acces with move.l, on CT60 limit look at 50Mb/sec at 100Mhz, on V4 it more than 100Mb/sec Olivier Hi, You can lose all the a0 leas and almost all the a1 leas by usi...

Re: Minimal multitask configuration for Hatari

Some QED versions may have issues if the USERDEF stack is very small, like in plain TOS/EmuTOS. No such thing happens with XaAES. I have no idea if this can cause trouble in MyAES. This could also be an EmuTOS bug, of course. Hello Vincent, it is not an issue of stack of the AES, under MyAES stack ...
