I think you're taking the piss selling copies of things like FCopy 3 for a tenner. There are plenty of examples. Your hardware and original boxed stuff is fair enough though.

Re: software recommendation for Demo animation?
I think what this chap is after is some sort of "demo maker" program. There have been at least 3 of these available in the early '90's, but I can't remember what they were called. "demo construction kit" perhaps? I'm sure either The Dynamic Duo or The Pixel Twins made one of these demo makers. If me...

Re: Antiques Demo
I've just tried this demo on my REAL TOS 1.62 STE with 4MB and the demo runs fine. Try removing the Simms and trying each 1Mb module one at a time, you could have a duff Simm. Also try Pouet Net for a copy of the Antiques demo. This is where I obtained my copy which works fine. Failing that try Demo...

I've been trying to source a copy of the text file's from the LAPD catalogues, but to no avail. Does anyone still have a copy of any of the LAPD disc catalogues?
P.S. Great work above by the way.

Falcon & TT tracker questions.
Hi. With my old STE I used to make modules using trackers like Protracker, DBE etc, I could use samples of 44khz and play back the whole 4 channels at 50khz(just about). My questions... What results can be achieved with a Falcon, i.e. whats the max number of channels I can use at 50khz and what trac...

Re: Anecdote Demo
I have a feeling I got it from LAPD, so if anyone still has an old copy of that disc catalogue it should list who made the demo. This is now the last elusive item I am trying to hunt down on the Atari. I do remember that the demo was made by a English crew. It had a rave version of the old kids tv s...

Anecdote Demo
Does anyone have a copy of this demo at all? If I remember correctly it was an STE only demo that played a load of rave tracks. It was from 1992-1994. I can't remember who the demo was made by though.
Thanks for any help.

Dio: I had at least 2 demo's for years that used an 11 Sector & 82 Track(0-81) format and always worked fine. When I formatted disks using Fcopy to the same format half of them would format fine and write/read fine. Half the time it failed, but that did depend on the quality of disks I purchased at ...

Re: Screen flipping in platform games
Unfortunately only a few companies took advantage of the new hardware in STE. And even then it wasn't used to anywhere near it's potential. The STE was due to have a lot more custom chips/hardware(to rival the Amiga 500), but that never happened due to a few reasons, surprisingly cost wasn't one pf...

Re: Giana Sisters STE - New Game!
Zamuel_a, you have put a lot of work into this, especially with the bug fixing. You have my upmost respect for what you have done. The same goes for pacmania too. Cannon Fodder is one of my favorite ST games, but compared to the Amiga and PC it could've been so much better and could be significantly...

Thanks, remember the So-Watt demo (shame this is'nt STE compatible), Cuddly Demo and my favourite from memory The Union demo are these STE compatible, didn't really see many demos on the STE, considering what they were able to with an STFM I should imagine the STE stuff is amazing!! SO WATT definit...

I used to have this book and found it very user "unfriendly" to be honest. There were definitely much better books out there for leaning 68000 Assembly.

Definitely not Untouchables or Wildboys.
Does anyone have a text listing of L.A.P.D's catalogue, I have a feeling it was available there.

It was either Centipede or Pole Position on the 2600. Not long after it was a Vic20 with a whole bundle of games, Frogger being a particular favourite.

Re: Demo ID/Request.
It wasn't any of those, it was defo a demo as opposed to a module compilation. Maybe it wasn't Adrenalin, it's 19-21 years ago now so it's difficult trying to recall the name or crew behind it. I'd know the name of the demo if someone mentioned it. I wasn't a massively well known demo by the likes o...
