Re: Quarantine and un-useful project

Hi, Beware that most current Linux distributions do not support NFS v2 anymore, but it can be reenabled with "RPCNFSDOPTS="--nfs-version 2,3,4" in /etc/default/nfs-kernel-server (at least on Debian and Ubuntu). Thanks for the info, i didn´t know that v4 server can be "set back" to v2. Great! :D Latz

Hi,

thank you both for the help! Pointers to pointers still twist my brain
But in my reading the tedinfo node in gfabasic.hyp is a bit misleading here.

Anyway, thanks again!

Hi,
JeanMars wrote:but still this annoying "/pipe/log: no such file or directory" message.
This is with EasyMiNT?
Perhaps at this point starting sshd (in mint.cnf), sysklogd is not started yet - This is done by init program, so better
start sshd with a script from /etc/rc.d/init.d/...

Hi, here's an update of lzip, version 1.1 now. Please do not merge old and new version files; remove the old version completely and install the new one! NEW: - Name changed to "latzip" (lzip already existed) - now works correct also on machines without FPU - Under TOS debug output to file (keeps the...

Re: CTPCI - strange behaviour with USB or Realtek card

Hi,

did you test the cards one-by-one, means Radeon+Realtek, Radeon+USB? Same behaviour?
Are the voltages on CTPCI slot board stable (with 2 or more cards mounted)?
The pop-up wongck mentioned was caused by FreeMinT, this is fixed since a few months.

Re: Alternative ZIP packers/depackers for Atari?

Hi,

lzip only makes a difference regarding its .ttps between 68k (Falcon here) and Coldfire. For other machines, try to replace
zip.ttp in folder /arc/ with the correct version for your computer from Vincent´s website.
lzip was tested only on Falcon (/CT60) and FireBee, but it should work.

Hi, IIRC, for FXtender the Falcon clock traces were heavily modified. Check that the "clock separating resistors" R216, R217, R221 and R222 are restored correct. Also lift and re-seat the chips U62, U63, U67 and U68 to make sure they all have correct contact. U24 (near midi port) and U52 (right besi...

it´s a 68 Ohm SMD resistor here on an old Rev. B board.
But i could not find R49 in the Falcon schematics yet, so no guarantee.

Hi Pierre,

ABE, SDR and CTPCi version are displayed at boot, but not very accurate, right beside the Atari logo.
After a reboot (warm start), there are more info than at first start.

Hi,

Hi, Hi Latz, so do you still have the 470ohm resistor solderd on the board, with clock patch installed? 47 Ohm, not 470. I removed it, because in addition to the resistor (56 Ohm) on clockpatch this one works as a Voltage divider, which causes less than half clock signal amplitude for U36. If you ha...
