Re: Blitter and sprites with transparency
there are two methods:
A) two the BLiTTER passes: 1) mask AND destination; 2) sprite OR destination.
B) "compiled sprites" - where the CPU drives the BLiTTER fore every sprite's horizontal line. Endmask 1/2/3 is used for masking.

Re: CNC machine controlled by the 1040 ST
Amazing to see that! Though, it doesn't appear to be in working condition? it's cool as hell to see still! Talk about really getting use out of that machine. I heard that it works ok, there is a empty hole for the monitor above the ST. It seems that it was broken and the owner asked for a new ST to...

CNC machine controlled by the 1040 ST
The Atari ST was used with the CNC machine. The system was called STYLE CCM and it was produced by that company: https://www.stylecncmachines.com/about-us/ overons_CCM-STYLE-tech[1].jpg And this week "Atari-User" reported on our Polish forum that someone in Poland still uses it for work: 1...

it seems it was Falcon 040, but I'm not sure because the sockets are in a bit different location.

Re: Configuring VDI/AES for non-standard screen sizes
LINE-A variables modification is a good way, and you can do it from AUTO, because VDI isn't initialized yet.
Overscan driver works in that way.

Re: Atari SC1425 monitor TTL RGB port
That TTL input is not dedicated for the ST, but you can use SACRT. Btw. There were 8 bit Atari for France market, where instead of RF output was digital TTL video output. I wonder whether this slot is compatible with that Atari Ok I found it - Atari 800 - DIN 8 similar but it seems not the same: htt...

Re: NetUSBee USB drivers package v5
I'm not sure if this is the case, but somewhere on Atari-forum was posted info that one ACSI pin isn't well isolated from and the cartridge port 'noises'. Which does mean that e.g. NetUSBee may disrupt ACSI hardrive work.
