Did anyone record the competitions with the chat visible? Unfortunately some of us (organizers) didn't have the chance to follow the chat and it would be fun to read it all.
I'm not so familiar with twitch. Why that stream wasn't recorded automatically?

Nice finding @joska, it could be used for /|\ hardware without extended joystick port like ST/TT, and should be faster

Below you can find an updated version for MiST and FPGA I've removed not needed "http://" links and added "https://" Firefox / Greasemonkey: // ==UserScript== // @name AtariForum.com - MiST & FPGA // @version 1 // @grant none // @include https://www.atari-forum.com/search.php?search_id=active_topics...

Same for me, MiST(er) posts aren't hidden anymore. What is also surprising is that they are still any, I thought all the FPGA forums are moved to the new domain? yep, I'll post a small update for Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey code ---EDIT--- new code: https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=402546#...

Re: Atari STE Blitter objects demo (new record)

After the video post on Facebook I just wanted to start another thread about the Atari (STE) Blitter here. This demo is showing 23 32 x 32 pixels Blitter objects moving at 50 Hz on a genuine Atari STE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UotlGkgesbU "New attempt with one more object: now displaying 23 ...

Re: Video: Steem overview

thanks, nice video Vincent
obviously thumbed up.

Regarding Steem 3.2. That version is very very... very old, almost as old as EmuTOS 0.7
IMO would be better to avoid promoting such a outdated software, and focus on the latest version.

Re: PhotoChrome v6

PCS6 was not used to produce any content for that last demo - everything was done by Cyg using his own tools and I had no involvement. However ppera's high colour video replay/displayroutine - a version of which *is* used in the demo - was first prototyped with PCS6 as the conversion tool, using th...

Re: STE Blitter

The comment you quoted doesn't really says exactly how many bus cycles Blitter takes. It just means that Blitter tries to count 64 bus cycles used for itself, but because of the bug, sometimes it would include one bus cycle used by the CPU instead. This is the reason for the observed 63 cycles. Now...

Re: any one use both Atari and Amiga

Never had Amiga in 90's. Now after years I use very often WinUAE's debugger for analysing different 68000 code. Amiga has several advantages, several disadvantages. In general it's quite nice piece of hardware, but not as sexy as Atari. Also, C64 is nice piece of hardware (static RAM chip in 1983!) ...

Re: ROM address map

different TOS version have different internal data organization. you can change mouse pointer to busybee and just copy its shape. regarding fonts, LINEA returns "Addr. of monospace font data " http://toshyp.atari.org/en/006003.html void *v_fnt_ad; /* -$16: Addr. of monospace font data */

Re: STE Blitter

You can read the Blitter source here if you are interested: https://github.com/ijor/stBlitter I don't know VHDL either, but your code is nice piece of code for learning. does that mean CPU/BLiTTER split 64 / 64? /* Non HOG DMA cycle counter. Counts 64 bus cycles (any bus cycles). BLITTER Buglet: St...
