Re: making 8 bit music on my atari 1040 ste
I recommend MaxYMiser too, it's powerful and the online help is fantastic. I use Sidsound designer too, editing the instruments requires less effort, but the sequencer is not half as good.

Re: MIDI controlled YM chip drum machine?
Probably, yes. Gwem posted videos on youtube, I think with MIDI in and out. So maybe ou can just make (or download) maxYMiser drum instruments and trigger them via MIDI...bullis1 wrote:MaxYMiser is still your best bet if you can manage to learn it.

Help with digidrums in maxYMizer
Hello rockers!
I don't manage to make my digidrums sound loud enough in maxYMiser. Here's a track I'm working on, the drums sound really really cheap. Some specialists must have an idea how to make them sound better!
Cheers, and thanks in advance for any help provided !

famous hacks
hi,
are there famous hacks of famous games (at least hacks of famous games) around? i've played with sprites and stuff that was easy to track and modify without having knowledge in coding... but are there some funnier hacks around?
