Re: Feature request - mouse speed

Slingshot, it's not right just yet. I've tested on the minimig core with mouse_speed=30. Just circling the mouse definitely shows it's being slowed down and is more controllable. However, if the mouse is moved slowly enough, the pointer doesn't move at all. I assume there's a counter that's being re...

That only works for the OS unfortunately. Games loaded from floppy, or even WHDload don't seem to read that setting.

Feature request - mouse speed

Over 3 years ago, someone raised the issue with some USB mice having too high a DPI setting. An issue was raised in the Github repository (#49), but I don't know whether anything came of it? Essentially, some games that require a high level of mouse control can be unplayable. I tried Shufflepuck Caf...

Re: Do you still use a MiST exclusively?

Yes. One of the things I love about my MiST is that it's an all-in-one solution. No need to source components, no need for extra boards to add functionality, and no need to find a case to house it all. I still connect to my gaming TV using a SCART lead, or to a smaller monitor via VGA. Occasionally ...

Re: RetroTINK 2X-SCART with Atari STE

Interesting, an Amiga user reported this device was not great http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=100692&page=2 It's an interesting, though slightly odd, review. I was under the impression that the retrotink devices, along with the OSSC,, introduced a delay that was literally measured in a handfu...

Re: RetroTINK 2X-SCART with Atari STE

Retrogaming cables, £47. They are not the SCART variant, but the dedicated cable variant called Rad2x but it is the same hardware. I was going to just make an adapter cable for the Megadrive one, or whip off the end of the cable and put in a 13-pin DIN https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/RAD2X-CABL...

Seconded.

Interesting. I was considering buying one for use with my MiST. Good to know it works well with a real ST, it should be fine on a MiST as well.

Thank you.

I'm having a few days off (self imposed - suffering from back pain and my disks are in the attic).

Next week I'll work through my budget titles.

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

Kodak80,

I've re-dumped Roller Coaster Rumbler, it looks clean this time. I've uploaded more titles to your Dropbox (including RCR), all seem okay apart from Hacker. I've dumped that 3 times and got the same result each time, so it may be the disk at fault. All the others seem okay.

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

If disks look clean in AUFIT then no need to check them with HxC Floppy Emulator. Can you expand on that please? What would be considered not-clean? Other than SEUCK, I've seen another odd result from AUFIT. Operation Stealth looks to be a 11 sector format, where the 11th sector is unformatted for ...

Re: Floppy Disk Stream Image Repository

One more question. I notice there are a feww duplicates in the repository already.

Looking through the files, I also have about a dozen titles that are already imaged. Is there any mileage in me doing them as well, or is one extract enough?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but there's a lot of info in this thread. I've built my Greaseweasel today, and done a quick test to ensure that it's all working okay (it is). Sounds like your using a NTSC TOS ROM, so the game will be running at 60HZ

Swap to a UK ROM and see if that helps.

Power Computing Blitz Turbo (and the PC720B external drive)

4 years ago I posted a thread about the Power Computing PC720B drive http://atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=29351 .
