I've seen that Geshtock has started working on a Game Gear core :D

This is one of numerous university diploma projects floating in internet.
The target of this project is to show ability to code in HDL, not to make a working replica.
As a result - it's a core where only small part of VDP (just background) is implemented, none of audio.
