Steem SSE VCountMi write bug?

Postby WizTom » Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:40 pm

Having some odd behaviour with Steem.SSE.3.9.4.Debug.Win32.D3D. :-(
doing movep.w write to VCountMid & VCountLo doesn't seem to always change VCountMid from 01 to 00.

in attached screen capture of steem boiler room D1 = $0008, but movep.w d1,-3(a2) doesn't write 00 to -3(a2).
tested with real ste and hatari and both seemed to work correctly, so shouldn't be bad timing with vcount writing and shifter doing
LineWid addition just before left border opening code.

Setting LineWid (820f.w)to 0 (was 48) made it behave bit better. Steem might apply LineWid addition to VCount a few cycles too late and ends modifing VCount inbetween movep.w byte writes?

unfortunately Steven has moved his Steem SEE activity to https://sourceforge.net/p/steemsse/blog/
I guess would be better to post there your comments.
