e.p.s.s. and cubase arrangment or midi

Postby charles » Mon Feb 25, 2013 1:46 am

i made this with my epss and cubase ,,
giving midi a small break because im reduced to only computer for a while ...these mod ,samples and arrangments sure have a quality of their own !!!

after making a sample bank in the epss of samples i converted under the program 525

i used one of my own midi files and breifily came up with this small but effective melody

more is less

and the 16 bit growl seems to kknow where to shine!!!

I did not hear any melody in the wav file, only some signal noise. Maybe we got the wrong file?

I did hear some 'music' but sound quality is poor and is only a small excerpt. It's probably the "16 bit growl that seems to know where to shine"

The WAV might be 16 bit.... but the STe PCM audio is 8 bit.

well ill tell you what im doing,

trying to make some of my midi songs work in conjuction with the internal synth engine e.p.s.s.
so ultimatily i can render some of the .MODs YERZMYEY created
into midi format
for a combinatory creation

but not just that i'll be forced to find corresponding samples within YERZMYEY songs
for each channel?

make sence ?

Yeah it all makes sense.

I just seemed to have some trouble with the file.

Good luck.

Why are your tunes so soft? They are hardly audible unless you cranck up the sound to 100% and you can make out some techno bleep.

thanks rian ata i thought they were low too ,

trouble began when i had to use "audacity"
to replace my former windows wave recorder,,,,

and if i adjust the gain on the recording i get nothing
which is the very same for playback as it is for recording audio

.......i guess i should ask for help ,, only been using audacity for three weeks now

any helpers?

Hmmm... It should work on STEEM?

Or is it the "Installation of EPSS was NOT successful" error a common knowledge?

Ah well.

PS: Guys, don't listen digi from STEEM as it never works properly (except from AY) - the sound itself must be OK on the real hardware. Still, I will have to pull out my STE to check this out, it seems.
Regards.
